D2C Specialist

Role Responsibilities

- Act as the go to expert for D2C platforms and programs, possessing a complete understanding (inclusive of the strategic context) of internal and external variables that impact the business (fulfillment, IT platform, customer service, order management, etc.)
- Reporting to eBusiness Development Manager of the EMEA & SA eCommerce Management Unit, the D2C Specialist will take full ownership for the D2C project
- Develop the implementation plan of new Direct to Consumer Platforms enabled by different Route to Market Capabilities. Lead the pilots until market tests prove successful. Coordinate the execution in partnership with other functions and ensure measured results 
- Provide strategic direction for development of the D2C business
- Identify additional growth opportunities, define appropriate routes to market, & develop respective action plans
- Collaborate with other functions internally to develop the right tactics to operate D2C platforms
- Manage cross-functional projects that further drive e-commerce excellence
- Monitor & benchmark achievement of quantitative & qualitative KPIs
- Act as consultant for D2C platforms and provide support/ guidance for other functions
- Maintain close connection with EMEA & SA eCommerce central and local teams to share best practices

 

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum Qualifications:
'- 3+ years of relevant D2C eCommerce experience in CPG, and/or business management/consulting with a proven track record of delivering results
- Experience in pricing and promotion, inventory management
- Advanced experience with Excel, or other analytical/Business Intelligence tools
- Highly polished communication skills - speaking, writing, presenting and negotiating
- A willingness to roll up sleeves to get things done 
- Proven entrepreneurial thinking & behavior
- Strong commercial sense to identify growth opportunities
- Strong analytical, project management, & organizational skills
- Ability to think and react in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
- Ability to expand skills and take on additional responsibility in the near future
- Professional proficiency in English  

 

Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to operate simultaneously and effectively in both tactical and strategic modes
- Commercial focus and able to work toward mutually agreed KPIs
- Strong understanding of financial KPIs – data-driven mindset combined with high emotional intelligence
- Solid experience with D2C eCommerce platforms
