Role Responsibilities

In your role as Associate Manager, Global eContent you will be part of our success by:

  • Managing the development and deployment of eContent for 2+ Global Brand Houses (GBH)
    • Where eContent is defined as the brand content to be deployed on eCommerce sites globally to bring the brands to life on those platforms and convert consumers from interest to purchase
  • Work with GBH, regional marketing, and regional eCommerce management units (eMUs) to diagnose current eContent gaps and prioritize eContent needs
  • Create annual eContent plans for each GBH relfectiong the gaps and eContent priorities, including budget, resourcing and timing
    • Turning Global brand programs into a set of core eContent assets
    • Keep continuous contact with key stakeholders to monitor plan and adjust as required throughout the year
  • Manage agencies and/or contractors to produce eContent and gain approval of GBH on final eContent
  • Ensure eContent is uploaded to the rights systems (e.g. DAL, PIM) in the correct file formats, with the right metadata and usage rights
  • Act as a central point of contact for the eMUs looking to access global brand eContent
  • Act as a subject matter expert and participate in educating the rest of the organization to develop their knowledge of the eContent landscape and process
  • Establish GBH eContent KPIs and benchmarks and utilize key tools (e.g. digital shelf tool) to periodically report performance, and identify issues and opportunities
    • Track eContent effectivness and sales impact

 

Qualifications & Experience

Required:

  • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing and or eCommerce with a consumer products company, marketing agency, publisher or technology firm
  • Prior experience in managing the development and deployment of eContent
  • Demonstrate understanding of the role eContent plays in building brand equity and converting sales
  • Good knowledge of eContent storage and distribution technologies including DAM and PIM
  • Experience working with or for marketing agencies and freelancers to develop and produce eContent with a strong understanding of required resources and costs to execute initiatives
  • Demonstrated ability to manage internal or external clients and provide exceptional customer service and results
  • Demonstrated bias for action, with a “hands-on” approach and willingness to take ownership

Preferred:

  • Experience in the alcoholic beverages industry, and/or
  • Experience with premium and luxury goods

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, Advertising, Marketing or related field
