Role Responsibilities

Role Mission

 

This position will work directly with Demand & Supply Insights team and the rest of SCM IT teams to develop technical solutions for data and information of our company. The role is also responsible for the monitoring and maintenance of the analytics environment and will be required to support other specialists within the team.

Also, the role will provide the integration of data from a variety of internal and external sources, into a common warehouse data model, to support data and analytics activities across global business functions.

First Data analysis phase will also performed, providing the initial analytical analysis.

Ensure the success & knowledge sharing of the solutions implemented.

Ability to learn new technologies.

 

Outcomes/Success Criteria

  • Developing Solutions: responsible of the solutions implementation, technical document for custom development, execute appropriate first level of testing.
  • Production Support: Troubleshoot system issues, detailed technical analysis, and apply solutions
  • Capable to optimize solutions performance.
  • Capable to learn new Business processes and technologies.

Qualifications & Experience

 

Qualifications & Experience

 

 

  • 2+ years of experience in SAP BW/HANA, BI
  • Knowledge on HANA studio tool is mandatory
  • Technical knowledge on SAP BW, SAP BW on HANA, and SAP HANA (native) is mandatory.
  • Technical knowledge in Dashboarding tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Google Analytics, SAP Analytics Cloud are mandatory
  • Technical knowledge in Power BI or Google Analytics, is desired.
  • Technical coding knowledge in ABAP and SQL script is mandatory
  • Knowledge of SAP ECC (SD, MM, PP, QM PM modules desirable) and SAP IBP is a plus
  • Knowledge on data ingestion using ETL tools (e.g., SAP BODS, SAP PO) is desirable
  • Pro-active approach to problem solving
  • The ability to work to strict timescales as part of an integrated, multidiscipline team.
  • Develop a deep understanding of systems and processes to extract insights from existing data while identifying and recommending enhancements to improve data quality
  • Design and develop the logic for end-to-end data pipeline including performance optimization
  • Agile experience is a plus.
  • Worked in a spirits, beverage or consumer industry is preferred
  • Fluent in the English language (speak, read, write)
  • Position based in Madrid, availability to travel 25% internationally
  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in in information systems technology
