The Senior HR Manager plays a critical role to providing strategic partnerships, consultation to US Sales leaders on critical priorities, long term direction setting, and support of talent, development, performance, and engagement strategies to deliver against the objectives of the US Sales organization. Role Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the Senior Director of Human Resources for US Sales, the Senior HR Manager partners with the US Sales team to develop robust talent and succession plans including attracting, developing and retaining exceptional talent.
  • Responsible for leading annual performance management and compensation planning as well as calibration sessions.
  • Work with the Senior Director of Human Resources and US Sales leaders to continue to build the culture and engagement of the US Sales organization. Supports employee engagement initiatives and work with leaders to develop action plans, ensuring that company values and behaviors are incorporated and embedded.
  • Coach and provide HR support to leaders, teams and employees so they can perform at their best and live the Beam Suntory Values.
  • Leverage employee data and analytics to inform decision making, spot workforce trends, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Work with the Senior Director of Human Resources and US Sales leaders to deliver against the US Sales D&I objectives and Organizations D&I goals.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to managers on employee relations issues and performance management
  • Drives development goals and planning agenda within client group
  • Support the Senior Director of Human Resources on rolling out organizational structure designs
  • Drive business performance and productivity through exceptional talent and people management, leveraging strategies and thought leadership from the Global Talent, Learning & Development Team
  • Effectively manage day-to-day HR activities and processes such as recruitment, adeptly managing employee issues, focused learning and development, and driving strategic agendas forward leveraging organization design, strategic workforce planning change management, and culture building capabilities


Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
  • 5+ years of Human Resources Generalist experience
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Proven ability to effectively influence and make an impact on a wide array of stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Knowledge and understating of US employment law
  • Previous experience in employee relations is required
  • Ability to handle information in a confidential manner
  • Agile, adaptable and resilient. Enjoys working in a fast paced and consumer-centric culture
  • Customer service focused with a bias for action
  • The position is based in Los Angeles, with some or occasional travel throughout the US once it is safe to do so again
