Maker’s Mark Distillery, a beautiful historic landmark currently has the following position open  Storeroom Coordinator  in Loretto  KentuckyUnited States. This position will be based at the distillery which is approximately 20 miles south of Bardstown, KY.

Role Responsibilities

Maintain adequate stockroom inventory for MRO supplies and spare parts for plant equipment.

 

Receive and stock inventory.  Assist with unloading of trucks when needed.

 

Maintain inventory in min/max levels.  Cycle counting critical spares.

 

Issue necessary supplies, parts and/or tools to plant personnel and record identifying codes and cost centers when issued.

 

Assist with placing orders to replenish parts and supplies.  Check prices and locate vendors with best price and availability.

 

Maintain stockroom inventory records.  Monitor and track inventory utilizing the computerized system.

 

Request bids and negotiate contracts as directed.

 

Meet with vendors for materials sourcing to obtain the best possible pricing.

 

Adheres to and promotes quality, environmental, health and safety as one of the organization’s business priorities.

 

 

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

Secondary job functions include but are not limited to performing time and attendance, Work order distribution and reconciliation as needed as well as generating purchase orders in the absence of the maintenance clerk or maintenance planner. 

 

 

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum two years of inventory experience.
  • Working knowledge of computer software programs. 
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP system preferred.
  • Good communicational and organizational skills.
  • Good data entry skills.
  • Ability to interface with management personnel.
