Role Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and control service station at all times
• Execute day to day service in the restaurant with a pleasant demeanor 
• Help execute pop-up/special requests from VIP clients and Trade groups
• Spread the Maker’s Mark History and future vision as a Story Teller/Server to our restaurant guests
• Participate in Maker’s Mark trainings to enable you to continue to grow
• Attend all scheduled employee meetings and bring suggestions for improvement
• Execute service for both individuals and groups at SHP; at Home Place; at Lakeside; and any and all other locations on site as requested
• Maintain cleaning systems in the FOH
• Ensure an “A” rating, or comparable, from the Department of Health and/or Department of Agriculture
• Champion Maker’s Mark and Star Hill Provisions
• Maintain a strong work ethic
• Build and maintain team morale
• Support Maker’s Mark corporate goals though other duties as needed

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of one years’ experience in high level establishments
• Department of Health and Mental Hygiene- issued Food Protection Certificate
• Must have high-end service experience with a focus on purposeful and efficient steps of service
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with the executive team and employees under supervision
• Comfortable with high-level execution
• Ability to be a positive team member
• ServSafe certified
• Act with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promote the culture, values and mission of Star Hill Provisions at Maker’s Mark.
• Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, professional, gracious service at all times
• Performs all aspects of position with efficiency, respect, friendliness, professionalism, teamwork, knowledge, patience, awareness, compassion, courtesy and initiative.
• Maintain and improve upon the customer experience with sharping service to improved daily sales
• Work with the Star Hill Farm team on seasonal menu offerings (including developing methods to sell short in season specials and cocktail features quickly and efficiently
