The following position is open in Loretto KentuckyUnited States. This position will be based at the Maker’s Mark distillery which is approximately 20 miles south of Bardstown, KY.

Maker’s Mark is seeking an ambitious, dynamic, and passionate team member in the steward position to support and collaborate with our restaurant team including server/storytellers, chef team and more at Star Hill Provisions. The ideal steward should be skilled in multitasking, committed to rigorous standards of hygiene and sanitation and enjoy the fast and fun pace of a kitchen and restaurant environment. This position is a key and respected part of the team that makes presenting a delightful culinary experience to our guests possible


Role Responsibilities

Support day to day operations of the kitchen

· Work with the team to create and maintain a high level of cleanliness and sanitation standards

· Assist in all aspects of day to day operational restaurant work including waste disposal and organization

· Assist the kitchen team as necessary

· Maintain work station and kitchen to an “A” rating, or comparable, from the Department of Health and/or Department of Agriculture

· Maintain a strong, positive work ethic


Qualifications & Experience

  • Passion for team work and a high level of work product
  • Good attitude and a willingness to learn and grow
  • ServSafe certified
  • Department of Health and Hygiene- issued Food Protection Certificate
  • Min of high school diploma or GED required
