An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Global Travel Retail Team as Sales Analyst, GTR.

GTR as a channel affords employees the unique opportunity to support & translate the Global account strategy within an assigned region; engaging key customer teams, cross-functional colleagues and RGM partners, to fully unlock our growth ambitions.


The primary purpose of the role is to support the Pricing and RGM Execution Manager in implementing the Revenue Growth Management (RGM) Execution plans for Global Travel Retail through the levers of Pricing, Promotional effectiveness, Trade Terms Strategy and Mix.


This role will help deliver insight and analytics into action to support the International GTR strategy. To achieve this, we require a highly analytical candidate with fantastic interpersonal skills, able to build collaborative relationships to lead on this hugely influential area of our business.  


Role Responsibilities

Center of Excellence for Revenue Growth Management (RGM) in GTR  
•    Support the process of establishing the pricing and promotion positioning guidelines and ensure communication to wider teams
•    Assist in the development of data analytics to use across the different RGM levers of Pricing, Trade Terms Strategy, Promotions and brand and customer/channel Mix
•    Develop and update relevant scorecards/ dashboards with recommendations on actions. Whilst also using Global and International PVM, pricing reports and scorecard 


Embed Mix optimization and a balance focus between volume & value; margins & topline growth 
•    Help to implement and improve current tools such as Gross Margin Variance Analysis 
•    Participate in different projects such as Internal triple net (I3N) refresh, defining Recommended shelf & net selling prices, Value Chain analysis and customer/channel segmentation


Be the conduit with Global RGM team and GTR functional teams 
•    Support the annual pricing commercialization process. Develop insights and recommendation of actions by priority brands. Analyze competitor pricing trends and develop insights to support decision making & change
•    Support the harmonization of pricing across geographies in travel retail and refresh of Internal Triple Net with Global RGM
•    Act as a key contact for the sales teams, assisting in increasing financial and price awareness 


Qualifications & Experience

  • Ideally 3 years of financial analysis or commercial insights experience in a FMCG environment.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills to effectively manage and manipulate large amounts of data to create actionable insights.
  • Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Understanding of business profit drivers and how to convert numbers into innovative solutions
