This position is critical and essential for performing analysis of the Company´s monthly, quarterly, and yearly inventories, costs and/or spending for Agricultural Operation. Execute the month-end closing steps in the SAP System for Inventories and Cost for MX20 Company Code. Help the operations of the company to be more efficient and observe if proper allocation of resources is done by the Company. In addition, to provide accurate and relevant information to management for review and decision making
Execute the month-end close step in SAP. To collect financial data and analyzing it. Participate in the physical inventories count. Prepares compliance reports. Assist in preparation of financial budgets as required.
Qualifications
Education- Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance (preferably)
Certifications/Licensure- Titled
Years of experience 3-4 years
Level of experience- Specialist
Industry experience-Manufacturing, Agricultural or Spirits Companies (desirable)
Travel %- 20%
Role Responsibilities
Assisting in reporting of monthly, quarterly and yearly results. Perform analysis of costs to support the Company – including: variances, expenses, and inventories. Execute the month-end close steps in the System for Inventories and Cost for Agriculture Company. Perform account reconciliations (monthly / quarterly. Serve as SAP Key user for Agricultural processes that pertain to Cost and Inventory control and valuation. Works closely with Agricultural team to understand issues and how they impact the financial results as well as educate/inform them on cost drivers and variances. Ensure that the data analysis of the information is in accordance with GAAP, Statutory basis on accounting (Activity-Based Costing) and Company policies and procedures. Track and reconcile to purchase agreement and micro propagated agave contracts. Ensure contracts are properly executed.Assist in preparation of financial budgets as required.Perform physical inventories for agricultural business.Prepare SOP’s.
