Purpose of Role

This role is responsible for the end-to-end process from the BSI depots-warehouses/plants to customer’s depots/state depots or stores, in line with the different Route to Market models by state within the country. The incumbent will work closely with the logistic department in the central office looking to continue building an efficient operation while delivering the highest customer service level to our customers. She/He will also have to be responsible for the deposit/warehouse management and respond in time to all Excise & Taxation rules from the state.

Role Responsibilities

1. Responsible for the end-to-end process from the BSI depots-warehouses/plants to customer’s depots/state depots or stores, in line with the different Route to Market models by state within the country

2. Responsible to ensure high and best in class customer service to our customers in the assigned region (Target: OTIF > 97%):

  • Coordinate the depots pick-up plan in alignment with S&OP forecast
  • Generation of BII and IMFL import transport /passes  
  • Coordination with central team for BIO custom bonded warehouse orders
  • Preparing of duty requests and permit plans

Role Responsibilities

  • Work with the logistic department Decisions on best fright options
  • Coordinates the reception at the customer stores / labeling of products based on excise request when needed
  • Returns management process / improvements and optimizations. Manages customers claims relating the delivery of products (difference against order, in transit breakages) 
  • SAP: Sales orders creation (back-up for sales team) 
  • Internal Depo Transfer planning and process both for BSI depots and Corporation depots 

3. Creation of managerial reports for the sales team (stocks available by warehouse, service level by sku, customer’s on-shelf availability) 

Role Responsibilities

4. Works to generate savings in the full distribution process in alignment with the central Supply chain and logistic team in Gurugram. 

5. Connects with customers to work on On-shelf availabilities initiatives (improve reception, stocks in deposit and on shelf), improvements of service and cost reduction initiatives.  

6. Responsible for the individual development of the Depot coordinators and the warehouse management:

  • Keep Beam Suntory’s warehouse in line with the companies’ high standards (when applicable)
  • Respond in time to all Excise notices, visits and keep all the records and forms in rule with the policies
  • Supervise the deliveries (product preparation, hiring of the temporary personal) and coordinate the trucks with the assigned companies

Qualifications

  • Engineering or supply chain graduated
  • 5-8 years of experience in supply chain and/or customer service
  • Knowledge of and experience in the alcobev industry (trade, excise laws & distribution) an added advantage
  • Ability to work within stiff deadlines and/or under pressure and to deliver the business objectives
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize business goals
