This position is responsible for developing & growing key brands in the Beam Suntory portfolio within Thailand and Vietnam. The role purpose is to develop & implement Internationally aligned brand marketing and promotional strategies which aim to maximize our return on marketing investment and help attain business goals.

Role Responsibilities

  • Assess key categories growth or movement and support strategic planning/ brand planning for markets responsible.
  • Evaluate, deploy & monitor aligned brand marketing and promotional strategies to meet immediate and long-term strategic growth objectives of Beam Suntory.
  • Effectively manage the marketing, advertising, and promotional activities for ‘Core’ brand portfolio with the aim to maximize Return on investments (ROI).
  • Continuously monitor the market and competitive landscape to evaluate existing and upcoming opportunities/ challenges, course correct and devise counter response to competitor’s activities to gain and strengthen market position.
  • Responsible to provide a clear brand communication and differentiation message in the marketplace to strengthen brand health funnel and key KPIs.
  • Assist the commercial/marketing team to define and execute launch strategy for new brands or expressions. Align all stakeholders to product positioning, pricing, allocation management, innovation pipeline & brand assets.
  • Lead and development of digital strategy ; own execution across paid (search, display, app, social media) and owned (merchandising, emails, push notification and editorial content) channels end-to-end: managing creative processes, targeting and segmentation, planning, execution, reporting, and optimization.
  • Responsible for timely creation of annual brand plans & support building joint distributor plan.
  • To develop and secure approval for business cases of various marketing/ branding initiatives, including new market launches, innovations, line extensions, etc.
  • Manage and provide guidance to Brand managers to develop and deliver appropriate field sales enablement tools, targeted to increase market share, maintain pricing objectives to command brand loyalty from customers.
  • Establish an effective working relationship with commercial team to ensure company’s brands gain adequate market traction through sales activation calendars & programme.
  • Develop or adapt brand assets for ATL and BTL marketing programs, packaging, social, web development, in compliance with brand guidelines and local regulatory requirements.
  • Responsible for sign-off on all promotional/ creative communications/ marketing literature/ campaigns, etc., in compliance with brand guidelines and local regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • 8-10 years consumer marketing experience
  • Degree in Business Admin, Marketing or its equivalent
  • Proven ability to execute brand/marketing projects that align with overall Brand strategy
  • Self-starter with an ability to deal with ambiguity and lead a team within a new strategic role within the organization
  • Experience repositioning brands locally
  • Demonstrated experience in working across and up an organization, gaining credibility amongst peers, managers and cross function
  • Experience working in or with commercial sales or field marketing a desired
  • Multicultural marketing experience a plus
  • Experience with beverage alcohol industry and/or three-tiered distribution system a plus (soft drinks, beer, and other wholesale-distributed products)
