This position will be part of Global IT team and will support the company’s Digital Marketing and ecommerce technology initiatives by taking a leadership role in the analysis of business requirements, researching, and recommending technical solutions, while delivering end products that meet business objectives on time and on budget.

 

This individual is a strategic problem solver working with business and technical stakeholders to deliver business critical digital solutions with focus on digital analytics

 

Role Responsibilities

  • Business Analysis: Play a key role working with business and engineering teams to create functional design and data strategies as key reporting and dashboarding capabilities for digital analytics are developed and rolled out to business and brands teams globally
  • Entrepreneur: Drive innovative opportunities with his/her business partners to enable education, awareness & engagement for advancing our Marketing vision into action through digital (social, mobile, analytics, cloud, collaboration) capabilities and tools.  Identify business needs, problems or opportunities, define the nature of the solution that meets the need and justify the investment necessary to deliver the solution
  • Agile User Requirements: Works with the business partners to identify/document/translate requirements for IT in a consumable format and terminology for developers (includes project charters, use cases, data flows, wireframes…etc). Explains to the stakeholders how requirements may be implemented from a functional standpoint.  Lead transition planning, knowledge acquisition and documentation processes.
  • Solution Delivery: Works closely with IT delivery teams including 3rd party partners to deliver solutions per the requirements. Serves as the liaison between the business units, technology teams and support teams
  • Quality: Develops acceptance criteria with business partners. Coordinates user acceptance testing or assists unit testers so that requirements are satisfied
  • Testing UI elements such as CTAs, banners, page layouts, page designs, page flows, and target links for landing pages, documenting any bugs or enhancement opportunities in our JIRA instance.
  • Security & Compliance: Applies security/legal/compliance requirements within scope of responsibility, provides documentation and participates in activities as required
  • Both strategic thinking and a take-action mindset with intellectual curiosity, an ability to assimilate data and identify trends, proficiency in problem solving and an in-depth understanding of online media and technology.
  • Perform Ad Hoc queries and analyses that combine multiple tools, data sources and types to supplement test reads generated by the testing platform
  • Evolve and standardize dashboarding and analysis approach and templates

 

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent.
  • 4+ years of related work experience in a Business Analyst capacity with digital engagement focused on digital analytics across multiple channels.
  • Experience with Web analytics, data automation, data ingestion, dashboards and data visualization tools
  • Knowledge of database structure and functionality. Experience with GCP and datalake is a plus
  • Must have an overall understanding of digital marketing principles and various systems, applications, and environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to consolidate and package results and insights into well-organized, consumable artifacts with actionable recommendations and strategies
  • Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Gathering and evaluating user requirements, in collaboration with product managers and engineers
  • Experience working with Agile methodology
  • Illustrating design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
  • Designing graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets
