Mission of Role
• Provide day to day support to Zone and CSD business for the assigned roles and responsibilities to ensure smooth operations of the business.
• Provide support to commercial finance team for the all the activities which can be driven centrally from HO. Works closely with the commercial finance leader to help him/her drive the overall agenda of the function and manager the routine activities.
• Be an enabler for simplifying the ways of working within the commercial finance system and collaborate with the multiple teams to support Commercial and Compliance requirements in an effective yet efficient way.
• Identify the areas where existing processes can be streamlined and can be driven centrally to enhance the overall productivity of the function.
Role Responsibilities
Role Responsibilities
• Responsible to provide the support to regional team from HO in managing the operational requirements including BPA processing, customer reconciliation, accrual management and MIS reporting, month end close (TI, BI, OH) etc. impacting customers/ sales deliverables.
• Support the CSD team for daily activities including customer creation, claim processing, invoice processing, new brand onboarding and any other required submission to CSD
• Maintaining the centralized tracker of pricing, GSV, policy interpretation and pricing check list for cost card working
• Centralized SPR code creation, blackline recon, contract creation for all the Zones
• Act as one point of contact from commercial finance team for supporting with the data requirements during audits and tax assessments to ensure proper compliance with all regulations
• Drive efficiency in claims servicing by partnering with regional finance teams, GBS and Sales team and ensuring payments against the claim processed are done on time.
• Centralized repository for distributor agreement, excise policies, amendments and other related documents in commercial finance.
• Ensuring all agreements are renewed before expiry, DAs are signed before customer code creation and timely due diligence is done for the parties (new as well as refresh)
• Collaboration with compliance and controlling team for setting up any centralized process or change in policy
• Provide analytical support with pricing simulation and consequent impact thereof to commercial finance leader
• Accrual ageing management: Discuss corrective actions with regional finance and sales team. Publishing all India dashboards for TI and BI accruals ageing and open provision status.
• Monitoring & follow-up with region finance to ensure all statutory requirements at pan India are under control (TDS/GST/VST/EVC/C-Forms, etc.)
• Track with regional finance monthly Stock reconciliation of depot inventory and promoter reconciliation and payouts.
• Control over system master (customer/ tax/ price/ material)
• Track rentals pay outs with region in line with commitments and on-ground implementations
• Develop knowledge base of state excise laws and implication to effectively support the CF leader for driving the discussion of pricing strategy with RGM function and sales team
• Help CF leader to drive long term credit strategy for India in partnership with Credit function while ensuring strong control on accounts receivable and collection governance.
• Identify areas of process improvement to effectively and efficiently deliver functional responsibilities including consolidation of reports.
• Support in driving standardization and automation with an objective to achieve efficiency and eliminate manual tasks and redundancies.
• Support to CF leader in building a high-performing centralized team focused on adding value through streamlined processes and simplified ways of working, providing business support and solutions.
Qualifications
Experience/ other aspects
• 4-5 years of experience. Professionally qualified candidate/MBA finance/CA-inter will be preferred
• Role will involve moderate amount of travel
