Mission of the Role

The position will lead development and execution of the Brand Strategy for one of Suntory Global Spirit brands in India. Entrepreneurial in nature, this role owns delivery of all brand and business metrics for the chosen brand and is expected to represent consumer voice in its decision making 

Role Responsibilities

  • Develop Annual Brand Strategy with Category Lead and execute Marketing Plans to meet marketing and business objectives.
  • Strong functional marketing expertise across Brand Communication, Brand Building / Activation, Consumer Insights and New Product Development
  • Ensure effective implementation of Brand Building Initiatives – Media Plans, Retail Plans, Consumer Promotion / Activation Plans to drive Brand Power
  • Work with creative, digital & experiential agencies to create relevant content for building engagement/communication platform and for innovative brand solutions.
  • Ensure delivery of Market Share, drive Sales Volume and Profitability targets on the brand 
  • Gemba focus to understand market level insights and nuances and leverage the same while creating brand plans
  • Represent the consumer voice in all business, commercial decisions.
  • Regularly monitor market & competitive landscape to evaluate existing & upcoming opportunities/ challenges.
  • Drive regular updates and alignments with Global brand teams.
  • Undertake regular progress reviews with key stakeholders on plans and KPIs.
  • Managing marketing spends with measurable ROI
  • Drive marketing process for the brand in tune with Global and Compliance Mandates
  • Ensure effective partnership with external agencies and partners

Qualifications

  • MBA from a premier institute
  • 8+ years of experience in Brand Marketing. Preferably in alco-Bev, with exposure to experiential marketing
