What is the mission of the role

Assistant Manager Execution Excellence plays a pivotal role in leading commercial business initiatives and tracking commercial performance to drive growth through improved efficiency and standardized practices. This encompasses various work streams, including sales planning and incentives, sales enablement, sales intelligence, and sales reporting. The incumbent will be expected to partner closely with regional commercial teams, customer marketing manager, brand managers, and finance to improve processes based on analysis of current state and make recommendations.

Role Responsibilities

  • Understand business processes, analyze data trends, and share recommendations/action plans with stakeholders.
  • Automation of business reports/KPIs in PowerBI / other tools.
  • Learn and understand the domain/business to help define and improve commercial KPIs.
  • Budget planning, tracking actual vs plan and identifying opportunities.
  • Participate in local incentive plan design and implementation by partnering with other stakeholders.
  • Provide monthly reporting and key recommendations to commercial marketing for key markets x activities.
  • Insights into distribution & availability, billing & velocity for key markets x state x brands. 
  • Forecast variance analytics to budget and gap mitigation, R&O tracking, and trade Investment planning.

Qualifications

  • Post graduation with 5-8 years experience in the FMCG/Alco-bev industry.
  • Strong analytical skills and high learning agility
  • Stakeholder management, liaising with cross-functional teams.
  • Team orientation, “can-do “attitude and ability to deliver breakthrough results.
  • Understand the selling process & customer order to sales cycle & commercial KPIs in detail.
  • Hands-on experience of reports automation (preferred)
