Beam Suntory currently has the following position open at our Glen Garioch Distillery Visitor Centre in Oldmeldrum:


Part Time Visitor Centre Assistant - 936 hours per annum



We are Glen Garioch and we are hiring!
We are looking for right person to fly the flag for our brand and the North-East region we proudly call home. Someone with a passion for whisky and a desire to share that passion. Someone to act as an Ambassador for Glen Garioch, Beam Suntory and Scotland.

This role is part time working 936 hours annually covering mostly weekend and some evening work.



  • You will be educated on our Whisky making heritage, expertise and ambitions which will form the basis of your personal presentation delivery. We will arm you with the facts and figures and techniques required to deliver a comprehensive, polished and passionate performance.
  • Working to the highest possible standards of Customer Service and Hospitality you will be engaged in a highly dynamic and fast paced environment.
  • You will develop a deep understating of the World of Single Malt Whisky and the wider Spirits world beyond and be able to relate your knowledge and passion to wide and varied audience.


We welcome candidates with a wide variety of different skills, which makes our team so marvellously diverse. We are keen to hear what makes you stand out from the rest.

Previously successful candidates have been possessed of Multiple Languages, previous experience in Hospitality and Bar work, a Passion for Scottish History, WSET training and Tour guiding experience.

Despite being beneficial, these are not essential qualifications. We are looking for right candidate with the ‘can-do’ attitude who is willing to Grow and Learn by choice.
