The HR Intern role will work with stakeholders across the UK & Ireland business, ensuring consistent HR advice and right first-time administrative tasks are delivered. This is an opportunity to gain experience of the full employee lifecycle, in a fast-paced, exciting, global business, where people are our number one priority. The role will support the HR Business Partners across all teams including Commercial, Operations, Supply Chain and Corporate functions.

You will work alongside our UK & Ireland HR team, who work within varying HR functions including HR Business Partners, People Solutions, Total Rewards and Talent Acquisition. You will work both independently, managing your own workload, as well as working as part of the wider HR team. The ability to prioritise and meet challenging deadlines is key to the success of this role as well as having strong relationship building skills.

 

Role Responsibilities:

 

As an HR Intern, you will work closely with the HR Business Partners and wider UK & Ireland HR team to deliver an excellent HR service to our employees throughout the employee lifecycle. Your key responsibilities will include:

· Be the first point of contact for daily employee and manager queries.

· Provide advice to line managers on our policies and procedures including employee relations, recruitment, compensation & benefits.

· Supporting the HR Business Partners in Employee Relations cases

· Support the HR Director UK & Ireland with preparation of monthly People Leader Briefing and How To sessions

· Be an active member of the wellbeing group and lead the delivery of our annual wellbeing calendar and initiatives

· Lead our bi-annual Mental Health First Aider workshops and ensure training and accreditations are up to date.

· Support the delivery of annual DEI events including International Women’s Day, Pride and International Men’s Day.

· Be an active member of the Social Connections team, supporting the organisation and planning of our summer and Christmas event.

· Work in partnership with hiring managers, Talent Acquisition and People Solutions to attract, recruit and onboard top talent

· Support/lead key 24/25 HR projects

· Planning and organisation of annual Long Service Awards lunch

· Produce ad-hoc reports as required

· Ad hoc administrative support to HR Business Partners as required

· Work in partnership with the UK & Ireland HR team to deliver our annual HR Calendar and people priorities for 24/25
