What makes this a great opportunity?

Reporting to the Marketing Manager as part of a team of 6 collaborating closely with our key markets around the world. You will play a key role in the delivery of the total brand experience and programs ensuring that our toolkits and assets are magnetic, elevated and deliver on the global brand strategy and local market needs.  You will work alongside the GMM to champion their implementation in market. You will also play a key role in building out our Global partnership with Wimbledon, developing best-in-class omni-channel activations and you will be an engine for our sustainability mission across all touchpoints. 

 

Role Responsibilities

  • Wimbledon Partnership:
    • Support the GMM to develop activation programs and assets for our Wimbledon Partnership that build brand awareness and equity and are truly engaging for shoppers and consumers.
    • Champion the implementation of the global Wimbledon Program and assets in market with relentless focus on excellence of execution.
    • Manage Global Hospitality in and around Wimbledon Season
    • Identify any future global partnerships and work with markets to ensure local market partnerships are in line with Global Guidelines
  • Support the development of Brand Experience Programs
    • Through leadership of cross functional teams and management of world class agency partners, you will develop engaging omni-channel programs that are magnetic, elevated and deliver on the global brand strategy, sustainability mission, distinctive brand visual identity and local market needs
    • Champion the implementation of these programs in market with relentless focus on excellence of execution.
  • Champion Sustainability:
    • Work with the GMM and wider Kaizen team to ensure sustainability is a key focus of our programs and comms
  • Earned Media:
    • Support in development of PR Assets required for new NPD launches
    • Attend monthly meetings with key PBMC PR leads to ensure best practice according to Global Strategy
  • Support with Corporate Comms requirements to drive Sipsmith SOV internally

 

Qualifications & Experience

This position requires a real passion for and experience in developing best-in-class omni-channel assets at a global level combined with an entrepreneurial mindset that is eager to disrupt category conventions. It is a hands-on role with multiple stakeholders across the world so you will need to enjoy inspiring and collaborating with others and being an engine for growth.

 

This position combines creative thinking, strong project management, passion for spirits and focused action driving to set Sipsmith up for further transformational growth over the next 3 years and towards our 2030 vision.

 

You like to think big, connecting the dots in fresh ways to make amazing things happen.

 

Ideally you’ve had some experience working in FMCG or Drinks industry working on big brand building initiatives.

 

Strong cross-functional coordination will be required across our  Distillery Team, Markets, SGI House Innovation Team, International Insight teams, Regional Gin House leads, Sipsmith Innovations Manager, R&D, operations, finance, packaging team, external suppliers, design agencies etc. to successfully develop and deliver strategically aligned, consumer-led and commercially impactful marketing initiatives.

 

 

  • 1-2+ years in Alcobev/FMCG Marketing or Food/Drink Brand Management roles
  • Higher education graduate
  • Ideally experience working for an alcoholic drinks brand or luxury/premium food/drink brands
  • Track record of developing and generating motivation/enthusiasm for brand programs
  • A sustainability mindset: enjoys making choices that are more environmentally-conscious and reduce our environmental footprint.
  • Self-starter, flexible comfortable working in unstructured environment, and able to manage multiple priorities effortlessly. Proactive way of working and ability to work remotely and independently from stakeholders and colleagues in a matrix organization
  • Impeccable organisational skills with a resilient, solutions oriented, positive mental attitude
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage up and down
  • Empathetic people skills spanning many nationalities and differing attitudes  
  • Strong presentation skills, for regular internal presentations, agency pitches etc
  • Likes to research and develop insights into opportunities, strategy and actions.
  • Manages ambiguity with confidence and by regularly reaching out to key stakeholders to drive clarity
  • Ability to operate under pressure in a fast-paced business environment
  • Agency/outside partner management
