PURPOSE & SCOPE OF ROLE:
The Brand Ambassador Scotch & Irish will represent the Scotch and Irish Whisk(e)y portfolio for Beam Suntory. The ambassador role is a dedicated brand champion and a world-class communicator. Focused on driving brand awareness and bringing to life our brand stories whilst leading brand education, events, tastings and media engagement. This is a highly dynamic role that will involve working with key stakeholders to influence, promote and develop relationships with all audience types. (internal, distributors, customers, consumers, agencies and media)
This role will involve extensive travel across our brand homes and global key markets.

Role Responsibilities
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Represent and champion the Scotch and Irish Whisk(e)y portfolio, with the ability to communicate and engage with all audience types.
• Develop and execute an innovative and inspiring advocacy plan for the Scotch and Irish Brand House.
• A leader and custodian of brand messaging.
• Drive confidence, consistency and credibility of our premium brands by shaping and delivering best-in-class
brand education tools, assets and experiences.
• Supporting global Brand Teams by contributing to the following areas:
o Support brand teams with tool and asset development.
o Social media content development
o Agency on boarding/engagement
• Collaborating with marketing and commercial teams to identify and develop brand building initiatives that are aligned with Scotch and Irish
Brand House priorities.
• Represent Scotch and Irish Brand House brands with priority media across whisky, lifestyle and identified influencers via social media, tasting
events, campaigns, partnerships etc…
• Build a strong professional brand online and amplify brand activities to drive awareness and enhance the reputation of our brands.
• Support Private Client team to deliver elevated brand experiences for our most valuable drinkers and collectors
• Host Brand Home/Scotland visits when required for VIP guests.
Qualifications & Experience
KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
• Detail orientated; ensuring excellent executional standards.
• Ability to manage and delegate. Working across multiple functions and teams to deliver exceptional results.
• World-class storyteller – communicating with gravitas and passion to engage & inspire all audience types.
• The ability to create and execute impactful, influential and compelling brand experiences.
• Ability to build a strong community with our network of brand ambassadors and key sales teams.
• Up to date on industry trends and competitor activity.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to engage across all audience types, across all markets.
• A digital native, who is competent across social media, secondary market and new & upcoming platforms.
• Previous ambassadorial experience in drinks industry
• Ability to make decisions independently, lead creative and commercial challenges.
• Experience in planning and coordination of events.
