This position works directly for the Managing Director with close contact to the full German & Northern Europe leadership team. It provides a first-hand experience and learning on a general management role with the opportunity to gain great visibility in the organization and to build a close network of colleagues on all levels of the organization.

 

This position supports and assists the Managing Director for Germany and Northern Europe in the Organization and coordination of daily matters as well as in the support of strategic projects and tasks. This role is flexible in nature with varying duties depending on the business cycle needs of the company and its people.

Role Responsibilities

  • Responsible for supporting and assisting the Managing Director to be as effective as possible by supporting preparation for, during and after key meetings.
  • Creating presentations, minutes and other documents in both English and German and leading smaller projects on his/her own.
  • This role will play a key role with the Germany and NE leadership team working actively primarily with the MD. This role will partner closely with the Germany and Northern Europe Leadership team and other Executives and their assistants across Suntory Global Spirits.
  • This role will be responsible for liaising with Internal and External communications.
  • This role participates in program management, which involves duties on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis. Contributing to strategic planning process and help evaluate employee and department performance (e.g., analyzing data, writing reports). 
  • This role has the opportunity to lead companywide employee events (i.e. townhalls, conferences and other organizational projects) depending on the needs of the business at the time.
  • This role will also assist with administrative tasks such as Travel and visa arrangements, calendar management, organizing meetings and international visits, Expenses, and indirect procurement activity, as well as some general office administration such a as organizing office supplies or employee gifts.

  • Experienced in dealing with MS Office package and with all modern applications for information management and processing
  • Able to see the big picture and end goal, identify the possible impact of their decisions, prioritization and project the way to get there with an organized, creative mindset
  • Strong skills in building and holding presentations as well as writing skills
  • Fluent written and spoken English and German
  • University degree and working experience
