G&NE is one of the largest business units (BUs) in the International Region in Beam Suntory and is a critical market to drive the premiumization of Beam Suntory brands and generate profitable growth. The business comprises of around 180 employees and operates a direct route to market (RTM) in Germany and Austria, and through third party distributors in Northern Europe (BENELUX, Scandinavia).
The Finance Director is a key member of the G&NE leadershipteam that sets the long-term vision, strategy and implementation plan for the G&NE business unit. The role offers the great opportunity to create, influence and to make a difference and we are looking for a candidate that is not only an expert in his/herarea, but for someone who can inspire, motivate and drive an engaged, diverse and inclusive team.
Role Responsibilities
• Full responsibility for the P&L and all finance matters across G&NE including the delivery of financial performance and targets of the G&NE business unit in line with market and global strategies
• Be a valuable business partner and advisor to the G&NE MD by providing functional support to ensure the businessdelivers against its commercial and financial commitments as well as pro-actively identify opportunities
• Support the International CFO in delivering a high caliber finance function that is able to consistently meet the group’s requirements in a reliable and efficient manner
• Lead and develop a highly capable finance team in supportof business unit objectives as well as the needs of individual careers
• Ensure complete and accurate accounting records of the G&NE business unit by ensuring robust month end and annual processes including a close collaboration with internal partners and external authorities (e.g. tax, auditorsor other legal authorities)
• Owner of internal and external financial reporting
• Champion the development of revenue management capabilities (RGM) and drive value creation in the BUthrough optimization of RGM levers
• Lead the Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting process across G&NE including ownership of the financial business plan, the financial outlook, as well as trend and gap analyses to support resource allocation decisions
• Analyze return on investment including brand building, trade promotions, capital expenditures and operational expense in an effort to effectively allocate and spend resources
• Lead continuous improvement of G&NE business processes and ways of working to effectively support the commercial and marketing teams in delivering strategic priorities and business performance
• Develop, maintain, and review finance strategies to support short-, mid- and long-term growth plans
• Lead strategic local, regional and international financial projects
• Partner with corporate functions to oversee the range of accounting, tax, treasury, and financial issues related to various distribution models within the region

Qualifications
• MBA Degree or equivalent with relevant Accounting/Business/Finance qualification
• 12+ years of diversified finance experience, preferably including experience within different financial functions and within a large, multinational consumer productsbusiness
• Experience in working across a matrix organization and with a variety of senior leaders
• International experience is preferred
• Knowledge of the German financial accounting systems
• Fluent in spoken and written English. German language fluency highly preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 30%
