Quality Technician - 2nd or 3rd Shift

Role Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide Quality production support (specifications, quality checks, non-conforming materials)

Monitor Quality checks in SAP data system

Coordinate Rework

Perform required food safety checks

Perform incoming raw material inspections

Data Entry (inspection summaries, glass breakage, master sanitation completion, etc.)

Perform quality and food safety audits (brittle plastics, sanitation, chemical control, GMP)

Backfill/support for Quality Engineers as needed

Sensory Analysis (aroma and taste evaluation of products)

Understand root cause analysis and corrective action process

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Promote and adhere to Food Safety, 5S, and ISO standards

Assist with other projects as requested by the Quality Manager

Qualifications & Experience

QUALIFICATIONS:

Preferred 1 to 3 years of experience in quality, manufacturing, or a related technical role

Good oral and written communication skills

Strong attention to detail

Knowledge of Excel, Word, and basic computer skills

Must be physically able to safely perform required duties

Must be able to function within a team environment

Must have mobility to access all areas of the Plant, good visual acuity (correctable), good sense of hearing (correctable), and a valid driver’s license.

SAP, HACCP, and ISO or Continuous Improvement experience preferred

Must be willing and able to taste alcoholic beverages 

EDUCATION:

Minimum Associates Degree in a technical field, or related experience
