What makes this a great opportunity?

The GTR Shopper Marketing Manager position is responsible for best-in-class shopper marketing, activation, and category management for India subcontinent, Middle East and Africa. The role must collaborate with both Brand Marketing and Commercial contacts to execute our strategic and channel objectives in alignment with the global brand plans.

The role will require a relentless focus on creating and deploying full 360 campaigns driven by shopper centricity to excite, engage and convert shoppers to purchase both in-store and online. He/she will also support the premiumization across multiple touchpoints to ensure the continual elevation of brand execution and shopper experience.   

Role Responsibilities

  • Develop the annual customer marketing plan from the global brand plans to drive growth with key customers
  • Deliver the activation, visibility, and promotional plans. Ensure tactical activations and long-term permanent visibility objectives are executed brilliantly, with a focus on key strategic locations and premiumization
  • Develop, plan and execute brand campaign, product launches, digital/social strategies and consumer events in line with brand guidelines to ensure overall brand’s objectives are achieved.
  • Partner with the Digital Marketing Manager to define and determine brand digital strategy across retailers’ e-commerce sites, retailers’ social, digital media platforms.
  • Drive online conversion leveraging the most updated/relevant platforms and digital tools
  • Be the key point of contact for the customer for marketing initiatives and the partner for the Commercial team in managing business performance
  • Building best-in-class partnerships with customers, team members, and domestic market contacts
  • Review activation tools for effectiveness and work with the Brand Marketing team to enhance or improve engagement and impact
  • Category analysis to report on performance (depletions) vs the category to understand performance
  • Develop insight-driven and category growth-led customer propositions
  • Own the Brand Investment through budgeting, tracking, and implementation of the spends 
  • Co-own the P&L with the Key Account Manager, delivering ROI on all marketing activities
  • Review activation and promotional effectiveness and recommend actions to improve performance as required (ROI)

Qualifications

  • University degree
  • 7+ years of trade/customer/shopper/consumer marketing experience in FMCG / TR Industry
  • Strong business acumen, analytical and organization skills
  • Good interpersonal and collaborative skills
  • Relentless focus on best-in-class execution
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills
  • Customer and results-oriented
  • Strong understanding of the MEA/Indian passengers
  • Ability to travel regionally occasionally
