Regional Chain Manager; On-Premise - Texas

  • Develop strategy for Texas based Regional Accounts to improve account relationships and provide “Best-In-Class” service.
  • Build extended relationships with multiple contacts across top management, marketing, PR, Operations, Franchising, Training and concept development at key customers
  • Deliver insights and trend information to Key Accounts. To leverage consumer research and data to support creative ideas and custom programs.
  • “Elevate” mixology platform with Key Accounts to benefit key brands into seasonal promotions, Spec list improvements and volume creation.
  • Drive gains and market share, build winning brands, and beat the competition together
  • Influence and interact closely with wide cross-functional business partners (On-Premise, Sales, Brand House Marketing, Regional Marketing, Legal, Insights, Distilleries, and External Agency Partners)


Role Responsibilities

Build core strengths around collaboration, effective communication, solid partnership, and seamless integration with our brand house, local market, distributor, and account partners by delivering the business the right way, the Beam Suntory way.

  • Build effective relationships with influential New York key accounts to provide best-in-class customer & consumer brand solutions
  • Deliver an integrated and coordinated marketing and sales approach to customers as it relates to RFPs and all programming opportunities
  • Consistently and effectively utilize category and insights and industry trends to deliver customer-first premium brand solutions
  • Work with cross-functional teams to drive on-premise priority brands onto spec lists, menus, and into seasonal promotions/LTOs
  • Create, track, and communicate established KPI and ROI results for responsible territory
  • Monthly monitoring and reporting of competitive activity for responsible territory
  • To analyze and coordinate sales effort to:
    • Determine current market share by company for Top Chains and develop a strategy to build BSI market share with these accounts.
    • Establish new volume streams for Key Brands and New Product Innovations via creative program development, new menu usage strategies and new placements.
    • Develop coordinated, multi-level approach with key distributors partners, using contacts and influencers throughout chain system.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing or related equivalent experience
  • Minimum 4 years, experience in Marketing, Trade Marketing or On Premise Sales.
  • Exceptional analytical, communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • An understanding of category management and its applications.
  • Advanced computer skills especially in Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Word.
  • Drives success through the adoption of change, through experimentation and Problem Solving.
  • Has the “vision” to extend National marketing programs to the account level.
  • The ability to weigh options and negotiate situations resulting in a “Win/Win” with Key Customers.
  • Works cooperatively as a member of a team and is committed to the overall team objectives.
  • Acts to the values of Beam Suntory. 100% Compliant.
  • Passionately leads sales effort- selling Company and Brand at every opportunity.
  • Licensed driver of motor vehicles
