Role Responsibilities

Responsible for the coordination of strategic production plans for the 3 month to 2 year production window and the planning of strategic business initiatives within that window for the associated OU.   
Responsible for OU Supply Reviews supporting the S&OP (compiling and delivering the long-term focused, monthly view for 24-month horizon) and supporting the transition into the S&OE (short-term focused, weekly production plans over 13-week rolling horizon) processes, and review quality of outputs
Accountable for all capacity related setting and master data maintenance within this horizon (planning calendars, grade change resources, rates, holidays, asset downs)
Responsible for building the monthly OU supply plans (adhering to global standards and best practices)
Delivering the SR to the monthly audience with a grasp on the key challenges the OU will face with contingency options & tradeoffs over the month 3-24  time horizon
Coordinate the transition of the strategic horizon into tactical guideposts for the 4-13 week planner, account for seasonal builds, customer builds or allocation execution.
Support the global materials team with analysis on material forecasts & changes, also supporting annual bids
Actively participate and lead problem solving and process improvement within the OU to improve case fill rates
Continuous Improvement: support and deliver KPIs and apply continuous improvement techniques to drive improvements in supply planning and support the operational commitments of the regional GMs

 

Qualifications & Experience

Demonstrated performance in long term strategic planning
Experience with SAP ECC , SAP APO and SAP IBP
Strong knowledge in Supply Planning best practices and proven application of these practices
Knowledge in the Spirit's industry is a plus
Demonstrated performance with Supply Planning continuous improvement
Excellent interpersonal skills
Highly collaborative and development of business partnerships
Strong verbal and written communications
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Exceptional facilitation skills
Demonstrated flexibility in easily moving between strategic thinking and tactical execution
