Procurement Site Manager

Role Responsibilities
The Procurement Site Manager will support production facilities (OU’s) with a wide range of deliverables ensuring an appropriate level of compliance and process adherence with obtained goods and services.
· Member of the Leadership Team at the assigned OU with an active role in site’s strategy development, ensuring continuity of supply and providing governance pertaining to the company Global Procurement Policy.
· The role will reside in one of our bottling facilities and be the onsite Procurement Leader/Subject Matter Expert with responsibility of executing buy practices on behalf of the site, in alignment with cross functional Procurement Category Managers.
· This individual will manage localized sourcing responsibilities in the supply of Indirect services, Direct spend (Glass, PET, Closures, Labels and Corrugate) as well as CAPEX and Commodities at a site level. All responsibility will be aligned to communication of Regional and Global strategies.
· Role drives excellence in execution of improved supplier relationship management (SRM), ensuring compliance, assisting with onboarding, driving sustainability, supplier diversity & innovation.
· OU level leadership support to planning, quality, GBS (Global Business Services) and finance functions on supply base pertaining to contractual commitments and pricing. · Responsible for ensuring suppliers are engaged & in compliance with BSI SEDEX and Global Citizenship requirements.
· Partner with Global Quality and other key internal Supply Chain partners to develop and execute supplier scorecards ensuring best in class supplier quality, contract, and policy performance.
· The role focuses on continuous improvement of existing services, material quality and specifications, and it is responsible for projects and developments of the bottling sites in North America, including brands bottled by third parties. · Role is responsible for leading Procurement efforts at OU’s with new product trials.
· Develop and align local sourcing strategy with regional and global strategies, key internal stakeholders, and Procurement leadership.
· Proactively carry out the appropriate sourcing processes with existing and new vendors to deliver the goods and services in the most sustainable and cost-efficient manner.
· Negotiate and implement robust agreements with providers, to ensure all contractual terms are clearly documented and signed off, as well as contractual risk to Beam are minimized.
· Actively work with entire site operations staff to identify annual capital expenditure projects, ensuring aligned to and supporting the Capital Procurement team in executing.
· Develop and maintain a working understanding of the cost structures of goods and services required at our sites ensuring up to date business analysis are shared and positively influence business decisions.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in Procurement & Supply Chain
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
- Self-reliant, results-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem Solver - applies critical-thinking skills to generate, evaluate and implement solutions.
- Strong communication skills and a conceptual thinker with ability to adapt to change.
- Demonstrated success managing supplier performance & fostering relationships into partnerships.
- Broad skill set with good judgment and a mature, practical, strategic, and creative mindset.
- Strong presentation skills and advanced ability with MS Office products and SAP ERP experience.
- Analytically inclined - able to merge large data sets, analyze data, synthesize business insight, and clearly communicate findings.
- Commercial negotiation skills with a numerate, logical and analytical approach.
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
