Role Responsibilities

Support high quality standards from “seed to sip” through the development, maintenance and continuous improvement of the Global Integrated Food Safety and Quality Management Systems. Leads/coordinates process development, continuous improvement efforts and supports problem-solving with global partners across the Beam Suntory organization. Identifying, leveraging and developing best practices to support the Global Business needs.  Coordinating and reporting of key performance Quality indicators, including data analysis and interpretation of results, supplier, consumer and customer complaints, top-level manufacturing metrics, and development and implementation of new metrics based on quality system/business needs.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Analytical and strategic mindset to think about the near- and longer-term team needs and evolution of analytics capabilities and quality reporting functionality.
  • Expert proficiency in reporting / analytics tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau) is required
  • knowledge in data modelling skills, statistical software programs (R, Python, SPSS, SAS)
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with proven track record of using data insights to influence colleagues and drive change.
  • Five years’ experience in a manufacturing quality setting.  Food industry and or spirits is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement and maintain ISO 9001 quality management systems.  Knowledge of ISO 22000, HACCP.
  • Proficient within the following computer software programs – Power Point, Word, Excel, Pivot tables, Tableau, SAP, Sales force, SharePoint.  
  • Must be: Proficient in Excel - Create custom templates/data capture excel spresdsheet/ restricted axcess rights/ edit only with password/advanced functions/charts/ Pivot Tables & Pivot reporting/data validation/ formulas/perform complex and large calculations/perform data processing analysis/ etc...etc.....
  • Demonstrated understanding and application of technical skills including understanding of a broad set quality engineering skills:
    •  Statistical process control
    •  Formal risk assessment
    •  Process capability
  • Demonstrated root cause analysis and Six Sigma problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
  • Demonstrated internal auditing skills.  Certified ISO auditor is a plus.
  • Must be able to travel 20%
  • Must have strong communication and organizational skills.
