Role Responsibilities

  • Ensure Beam Suntory products are marketed and sold in accordance with budgeted objectives to obtain maximum profitability, market share, and sales depletions.
  • Complete ownership of delivering the Annual Plan through sustainable growth in Net Sales Value, Gross Profit and Gross Margin in total and for priority brands
  • Ensure strategic alignment with distributor leadership, building trust and relationships throughout their organization
  • Creates and communicates a long term and near team local vision for business growth leveraging broader corporate and region strategy
  • Can anticipate trends and developments in the market and is able to derive and define comprehensive priorities for assigned area.
  • Manage, quantify, and communicate risks and opportunities against the financial plan with the ability to make and execute contingency plans to mitigate envisioned risks.
  • Drive results through engaging, inspiring, empowering, and holding distributor members accountable.
  • Development of monthly, quarterly and annual forecast of depletions, NSV, risks, and opportunities, in total and by key account
  • Oversight and budget management of entity grants, discount allowances, brand investment spend, and distributor funded spend.
  • Development of sustainable revenue and profit generating price changes through in-depth analysis and knowledge of deal patterns, price structures and competitive pricing, utilizing RGM support and models
  • Lead cooperative planning sessions with Region Sales, Marketing, Finance and distributor leadership
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with all major key accounts.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally and adjusts brand activation plans to meet changing market and sales conditions while driving toward KPI goals and corporate objectives.
  • Ensure all sales efforts are in compliance with state laws and corporate policy on T&E, BI, etc.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5-7 years of Experience in the alcoholic Beverage industry
  • 3 years’ experience leading or influencing a direct sales team
  • Exceptional skills in Microsoft Office Programs (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Exceptional leadership skills
  • Experience with Channel management
  • Strong analytic capabilities
  • On and Off Premise experience
  • National Account or Chain experience

  • Lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling of up to 45 lbs.
  • Sitting, standing, walking, bending, reaching, stopping and typing using a computer
