 Specifically, this position will work with the HR team on all aspects of organizational development, and be responsible for the change management, manager/leader development, training, organization and team effectiveness as part of the transformation journey.  In addition, the role will support the change efforts related to the rewiring of teams. This role will work with a multicultural team based in different locations Spain, UK, US, Canada, Mexico...


Role Responsibilities

This role will serve as a critical resource for Beam Suntory’s North America Region and Global MK transformation agenda with a primary focus on the implantation of the new operating model as well some other transformational strategic projects

The senior manager of change management and OD will partner closely with our NA and Global MK leaders along with HR team members and other key stakeholders across the organization and will have the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of exciting initiatives that contribute to Beam Suntory’s business growth and overall success. This role is responsible for managing and supporting the assessment of organizational needs and the design, implementation of the new operating model in the following specific areas:


  • Talent & Workforce Planning: Build talent and role profiles for the capabilities required to underpin the organizational models. Match talent, capability and roles as part of the organizational roadmap. Partner with the business leads, global talent and HR business partners for the area of scope on bench strength building and strategic workforce planning related to the company’s transformation.
  • Training: Lead the design and delivery of the new processes and ways of working to embed  them into the organization and culture.  Partner with business leads to establish clear capability road maps to ensure we have the right talent with the right capabilities in our future  organization.
  • Change Management: Develop a comprehensive change management roadmap and execution plan to ensure that employees embrace the new ways of working and business transformation.

While this role may or may not have supervisory responsibility, this person will have to work through many others in the organization and act as a coach for senior leaders and executives in helping them fulfill the role of change sponsor.  

  • Project Management: Develop a talent & organizational roadmap that identifies systemic training and development needs and clear path to the future organizational model.
  • Performance Enablement & Organizational Effectiveness: Look for opportunities to continuously improve the processes and new ways of working to drive efficacy.
  • Culture: Ongoing proactive engagement building and driving of a “we over me” mindset throughout the new global processes and the organization, underpinning the new ways of working.  
  • Diversity & Inclusion: Ensure that D&I is at the center of our talent decisions as we establish the new organizational model driving the necessary initiatives to embed the Korn and Ferry approach. 


Qualifications & Experience 

  • 5+ years of demonstrated Organization Effectiveness/Development and change management principles, methodologies and tools experience required. This experience could also come from an HR or Consulting background.
  • Maintains high standards of trustworthiness. Role model for diversity and inclusion.
  • Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Excellent active listening skills
  • Superior interpersonal and relationship building skills, able to work effectively at all levels in an organization
  • Strong orientation toward working collaboratively, with equal comfort working independently 
  • Excellent project management and execution skills, with strong ability to multi-task 
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Prosci Certification on Change Management or similar
  • PMO Certification or similar desirable
  • Demonstrated flexibility in easily moving between strategic thinking and tactical execution 
  • Solid facilitation skills virtual and face to face
  • Good skills in PowerPoint and Excel 
  • Very valuable Agile and collaborative tools experience
  • Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations
