Mission

The Sr Manager of SC Business Analytics works with their team to scrutinize process and system looking for ways to increase efficiency in an organization.   They will often act as the lead liaison between different departments in a company, finding ways to streamline processes and improve utilization of our systems throughout the organization. This role is responsible to interact with various groups in the organization, sometimes acting as a diplomat, and presenting solutions in ways that colleagues and stakeholders will understand.  After analysis of a process and/or system process they may deliver many different types of solutions, including new business plans, data models, flowcharts, or strategic plans. They are also responsible for the management of their team providing direction, support and development.

  • Works within an organization to evaluate and develop a roadmap to align work processes with current and future technologies.  This requires deep knowledge of both the specific business and industry trends and conventions. A key aspect of the business analyst role is communicating plans between internal departments and external stakeholders.
  • Introduce change in an organization. Change might include avoidance of costs, identifying new opportunities, realizing and creating new benefits, and so on.
  • Responsible for managing key projects within Supply Chain and other areas impacting the SC as it relates to continuous improvement efforts, implementation of new processes/procedures in conjunction with leveraging key platforms (I.e.  SAP, Salesforce, Tableau)
  • Collaborate with the Supply Chain leadership team to identify and implement small to medium scope projects, process improvements and procedural changes designed to enhance and or support our customer experience, increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Build out the SC Business Analytics function, recruit, hire, set direction, coach and develop the team and the structure to effectively meet the requirements of the role.

Desired Qualifications

 

  • Superior leadership abilities, focused on engagement, training and development while building out the SC Business Analyst Team.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and critical thinking
  • Ability to work within a diverse, global workforce that is oriented around customer satisfaction and process delivery
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, IT or Engineering related discipline or equivalent experience. Masters a plus.
  • ERP experience (SAP a plus), 6 Signa or Lean Certification, SQL and Tableau intermediate proficiency as well as strong Project Management experience.
