Senior Manager - Sales & Commercial IT Data & Reporting

This position will be part of the Global IT – Sales organization and support the company’s Global Commerce Excellence initiatives by leading the Commercial Data and Analytics strategy. This leader must be self-driven, have a strong understanding of business processes, data management and analytics and have an executive presence. This key role will be the IT Product Owner for Commercial Data and Analytics and will work closely with the Enterprise Information Management, Digital Analytics, and business teams.  They must have experience working with Sr. Business and IT Leaders, Process Documentation, Project Management/Execution, and hands-on experience working with data and analytics.  In addition to, this role will support a RGM/Promotional tool in the US as it requires data feeds and data refresh on a regular basis.  They will lead a team responsible for Commercial Data Management and Analytics, focused on maximizing the value of our data and driving business results.

Role Responsibilities

•    The role will support our Commercial teams across the North America, International and Asia Regions. 
•    Responsible for External Data Management Partners, including strategy, governance, compliance, and budget management.
•    Partner with EIM and Digital Analytics to define Commercial Data, Governance and Compliance models.
•    Define and enable Commercial Data, Promotional and Analytics Strategy.
•    Commercial Data Architecture and Flow – design, document, govern. 
•    Drive process for change management and training activities to support best practices, ensure tool adoption and drive business results.
•    Develop the data strategy with the Commercial Excellence leaders, execute to ensure key markets implement and ingest commercial data that drive the business towards growth
•    Provide ongoing change management, training, user support and advocacy for data and analytic tools to drive best practice business processes.
•    Develop recommendations, solutions, and business cases for new investments/projects.
•    Capture new requirements and work with cross functional teams and external partners to assess, recommend and deliver solutions.
•    Continuous improvement – identify ways to improve the process, data quality and data sources to drive business satisfaction and results.
•    Provide Program/Project Management and oversight of different work streams within Commercial Excellence. 
•    Effectively communicate results and status of projects during various stages of their life cycle.
•    People Management - ensure that the teams are in place (both internal and external) to deliver technology-based solutions and drive business outcomes. 
•    Provide consultation and act as a SME for process and technologies during all commercial data and analytics initiatives. 

Qualifications

  • This role requires 10+ years working in various data and analytics roles.
  • Previous people management experience required.
  • Experience working in a global organization.
  • Exposure to SAP, Google Cloud Services, PowerBI, Integration Platforms and Salesforce.com.
  • Proficiency in programming languages, including SQL and Python is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, statistics, or a related area.   Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience working in AGILE framework a plus.
  • Consumer Packaged Goods experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge and experience working in highly regulated industries (Alc Bev, Tobacco, Pharma) is highly preferred.
  • Functional experience working with Commercial Sales and Marketing organizations.
