  • The Ideal candidate must be passionate about day-to-day interfacing with internal and external customers at all levels.   This position will support control state inventory replenishment through the O2C process. Must be self-directed and motivated with strong analytical, collaboration, and presentation skills in order to coordinate the management of $1.3M in monthly inventory. It is essential for the candidate to be able to drive cross functional accountability and guide collaboration efforts to drive service/efficiency gains in the end-to-end process. Individual must be able identify and resolve barriers in the day-to-day order management process and escalate issues impacting the customer and business goals.  



Role Responsibilities


  • Manage a team responsible for controlling bailment (consigned goods) inventory levels, coordinating special item requests, handle returns with the goal to meet demand, maintain established inventory targets, and minimize costs, working closely with Commercial Team and Operations.
  • Manage all staff reporting to the position to effectively recruit, train, evaluate, motivate, delegate, and monitor their activities
  • Communicate ongoing with the Commercial team through weekly & monthly meetings to discuss inventory levels, status of innovation, special projects, and any other key activities
  • Build and maintain relationships among Operations, Commercial, Traffic, and all other relevant internal and external departments involved in new project development.
  • Review technologies (SAP/Demand tools) and explore new developments in the replenishment landscape to find new ways to more effectively and efficiently manage Bailment warehouse inventory
  • Lead the overall management and accountability of the Bailment Replenishment team including defining goals, deliverables, training, SOPs, and establishing/maintaining team KPIs
  • Manage and monitor execution of inventory targets, replenishment activities, slow moving items, and returns, ensuring consistent communication with management on status reports. Alert and communicate any issues involving delays, special requirements, or impact to effective dates. Lead problem resolution discussions on issues when required.
  • Monitor inventory levels in bailment via end of month reporting, maintaining on hand goods within established stock targets. Take appropriate action on any aged, inactive, or non-performing items needing to be returned, transferred, or destroyed. Work with all analysts to find ways to improve reporting and configuration of how targets are determined so processes are always current.
  • Work with supply planning analysts to manage inventory levels using a demand forecast and safety stock combination, incorporating any innovation and allocated items. Identify to commercial any obstacles in meeting field plan, in addition to addressing issues with either excess or insufficient allocations.
  • Collaborate with Record to Report team on driving investigation and resolution of inventory discrepancies to maintain accurate data in SAP which drives MRP recommendations.
  • Keep abreast of changes in bailment (Consigned Goods) requirements (including contract revisions), listing/de-listings, and work with cross functional teams to ensure all changes are documented and followed.
  • Analyze, evaluate, and research current replenishment processes, systems, technology, and tools to identify and recommend opportunities to create efficiencies within the department. Also identify process improvements and best practices with cross functional teams.
  • Develop reports that record, analyze, and report on activities, trends, and results, and provide qualitative and factual recommendations to analyst’s performance, inventory management, targets, and other bailment activities.
  • Maintain effective communication with commercial, operations, planning, external vendors, and other internal departments. Manage and follow through on regular key broker, distributor, and internal and external leadership meetings.


  • Direct report to Director, Customer Fulfillment North America
  • Works closely with Commercial, Operations, Teams, Distributors, GBS, Finance, Logistics, and Supply Chain Departments


Qualifications & Experience

  • Five years or more experience in replenishment activities, three years or more in a management role
  • Bachelor’s degree in business related discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Capable of working independently on projects and miscellaneous assignments, and writing detailed executive summary reports
  • Adaptable to change and show ability to manage at all levels and with different styles of leadership and or personalities
  • Exhibit ability to ensure current procedures, policies, and processes are being followed, providing customer support to continuously improve ways of working, service levels and overall customer experience.
  • Express ideas clearly, inform others effectively, practice attentive and active listening, and achieve mutual understanding through written and verbal communication as a competent and articulate writer of business communication, presentations, and proposals.
  • Exhibits a strong presence, comfortable with providing key deliverables and updates across all levels of management as well as subordinates
  • Possess a high degree of business acumen.
  • Embrace organizational changes within the working environment and assist others to ensure adoption.
  • Proficiency in MRP/ERP (SAP a plus), Microsoft project suite, Tableau
  • APICS certification preferred
