Senior Enterprise Architect  




The Enterprise Architect (EA) plays an integral role in building holistic view and road maps as part of the IT application, data and technology strategies.  As a leader of IT, the Enterprise Architect (EA) team is responsible for understanding the overall Enterprise strategy and processes and translate them into actionable information architecture vision.  The EA participates in the development of IT strategy and is accountable for establishing and promoting the company’s IT Architecture. Enterprise Architect participates in changing the role and overall value of IT in the Spirits industry by bringing the right competitive solutions to market at right time with right cost that drive both revenue and cost savings.


The Enterprise Architect is also responsible for leading enterprise responses to disruptive forces by identifying and analyzing the execution of change toward desired business vision and outcomes. The enterprise architect role leads, prioritizes and develops the overall enterprise architecture (EA) discipline for the enterprise, in conjunction with the other EA roles, as well as with business and IT leaders.

· Develop the Target State Architecture that enables the Business Architecture and the Architecture Vision, while addressing the Request for Architecture Work and stakeholder concern

· Participate in shifting IT spend from temporary stop‐gap solutions to strategic solutions

· Review proposed solutions to minimize redundancy

· Ensure IT spending is aligned with business strategy and goals

· Develop opportunities for cross‐silo technology initiatives that resolve business pain points


Desired Qualifications


Qualifications & Experience 

Education- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science

Certifications/Licensure- TOGAF preferred

Years of experience- 10-15 years

Level of experience- Seven or more years of experience in at least three disciplines, such as business, information, solution or technical architecture, application development, middleware, information analysis, database management or operations in a multitier environment.  Consulting experience a plus.

Industry experience- Consumer package goods experience preferred

Travel %- 10-15%


Additional qualifications desiredKnowledge of business models, operating models, financial models, cost-benefit analysis, budgeting and risk management.  Familiarity with information management practices, system development life cycle management, IT services management, infrastructure and operations, and EA and ITIL frameworks.  Knowledge of business ecosystems, SaaS, infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), SOA, APIs, open data, microservices, event-driven IT and predictive analytics.  Exposure and understanding of existing, new and emerging technologies, and processing environments.  Exceptional soft and interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation and negotiation.  Strong leadership skills.  Excellent analytical and technical skills.  Excellent written, verbal, communication and presentation skills.  Excellent planning and organizational skills.  Knowledge of all components of holistic enterprise architecture
