Sr. Analyst - Sales Planning  

 

Mission

 

The position will report to the Sr. Manager, Commercial Planning with significant cross-functional interaction with the Sales, Marketing, Strategy and IT organizations.  The role is focused on driving best-in-class sales execution via design, implementation, and management of Beam’s key performance indicator (KPI) program, as well as sharing key commercial insights with Sales and Marketing:

  • Design, implement, and manage the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) program to help drive best-in-class execution, ultimately supporting achievement of financial growth targets
    • KPI program focuses on attainment of Menu, Display, Shelf, and Distribution targets
    • Managing the creation of the sales KPI goaling methodology and implementation as part of the bi-annual planning process
    • Analyzing commercial program execution and impact to evaluate performance and promote continued financial improvement
  • Tracking results and clearly communicating results to Marketin and Sales leadership for KPIs, incentive programs and other ad-hoc programs
  • Partner with Commercial Strategy to operationalize and implement strategic initiatives developed in conjunction with Senior Leadership
  • Conduct analysis to provide commercial insights on strategic marketing and brand initiatives
  • Partner with Field Sales support teams to facilitate strategic priorities and conduct ad-hoc analysis
  • Collaborate with IT to ensure proper deployment of KPI planning models and act as primary stakeholder in IT-led projects, supporting design of financial reporting and KPI dashboards for sales teams
  • Leading data systems improvement processes and daily commercial support across multiple platforms (Goal Planning (Anaplan), Account Surveys(GoSpotCheck), Sales Reporting(Aperity), The BAR Financial Dashboards (Tableau))

Desired Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Must be highly proficient in Excel and analytically focused
  • Detail oriented, focus on accuracy
  • 3-4 yrs. experience in industry or similar function
  • Anaplan and/or Alteryx experience desired, but not required
  • Travel 5%
