Role Responsibilities
The North America Strategy team is growing to better support our North America Leadership Team (NALT) to tackle the organization’s highest-priority strategic initiatives, identify continued near and long-term growth opportunities, and help shape the corporate agenda. Projects range from assessing emerging growth opportunities to portfolio strategy to long-term strategic planning.
This position will report to the Senior Director, Commercial Strategy, will work closely with the broader North America Strategy Team and will have significant exposure to the North America Leadership Team (NALT).
- Support major commercial strategy initiatives, including: regional growth strategies, business process improvement, go-to-market strategy, distributor management, and cross-functional efforts
- Test hypotheses through analytical rigor, collaborating cross-functionally across the company to ensure inclusion and integrity
- Help support annual commercial planning
- Develop go-to-market strategy
- Distributor strategy inclusive of contract negotiation, incentive structure, and performance management
- Shape direction of commercial team through development of annual incentive plan (SIP)
- Conduct financial and commercial assessments of various growth options
- Partner with Corporate Development team on due diligence/integration for regional M&A opportunities
- Assess acquisition business cases and support negotiations
- Manage integration projects to fold-in acquired brands into the overall business
- Develop and deliver data-driven insights for delivery to executive teams
- Work effectively in a team environment, both within the Strategy team and with business unit partners/stakeholders throughout the organization
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in management consulting or corporate strategy role
- Exceptional project management skills (must have led workstreams in the production of critical project deliverables)
- Strong executive level presentation skills (storyboarding, development and delivery)
- Superior analytical skills and financial modeling capabilities
- Ability to handle ambiguity and unstructured work situation
Salary Range - The salary range for this role based in Chicago is $95,000.00 to $107,000 along with an annual bonus, 401K match, profit sharing, and medical and wellness benefits. The salary range is commensurate with the candidate’s location, experience, and skillset.
