  • As part of the Global Commercialization team, the Portfolio Manager will manage Beam Suntory’s 3-5+ year innovation pipeline in partnership with Global Brand House leads and regional partners.
  • Partnering with Senior Leaders across the Globe, the Portfolio Manager will help ensure that the project pipeline is sufficient to meet the organizations short and long term growth goals and projects begin execution on time to limit implementation risk and maximize resource utilization.
  • The Portfolio Manager will also partner cross functionally to develop and lead S&OP Product Review and Brand House Portfolio Review.
  • This position requires a person with considerable initiative, independent judgment and a capability to manage multiple priorities at the same time while maintaining highly developed facilitation and  customer service orientation.



  • Team member is responsible for portfolio management of the long-term innovation pipeline and strategic projects at the world’s 3rd largest premium spirits company

  • Leads part of the Global S&OP Process creating connections between Brand & Innovation planning and project commercialization
  • As part of the Project Management Team, ability to provide input and influence overall Global process improvements

Role Responsibilities

  • Manages long-term pipeline initiatives providing estimated lead times, facilitating business case entry within standard lead times, and ensuring change control processes are followed. Updates project management system to facilitate move of pipeline initiatives to commercialization projects.
  • Manages the execution of highly confidential strategic initiatives for divestitures and acquisitions.
  • Facilitates the execution of the monthly Product Review and Brand House Portfolio Review(S&OP) process by developing input materials and presentations published to local and senior management teams, handling all meeting facilitation and collaboration.
  • Provides Pipeline related visualizations and metrics for review, identifies gaps and scenarios that must be presented. Guides final decision making on open items and prepares escalations for executive review where appropriate.
  • Facilitates the Innovation Pipeline information flow and conversations between Global Brand Houses, Supply Chain and Markets.
  • Works closely with Maturing Inventory Teams, R&D, Strategy, and Finance to ensure long term liquid and capital planning conversations are being actioned to facilitate the pipeline and escalate risks.
  • Works with project managers and project teams to improve business case submissions.
  • Creates and executes a Continuous improvement agenda to drive process and system improvements in relation to the long-term pipeline initiatives



Qualifications & Experience

Education- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, or related field  

Certifications/Licensure- Six Sigma & Project Management Certifications strongly desired

Years of experience- Ideal candidate has 8+ years experience in Project Management and/or S&OP process leadership  

Level of experience- Demonstrated success in Project Management roles and influence with cross functional teams in an ambiguous, ever evolving environment. Experience in running S&OP processes a plus.

Industry experience- No specific industry experience required

Travel- 5-10% within the United States
