  • Be an integral part of the North America RTD team to drive growth in an exciting category and execute Beam Suntory’s strategy in the Ready to Drink space in the US
  • This individual will serve as RTD on premise “go-to” for National and Regional On Premise teams and each Region (GMs/DVP/SMs), with a focus on the Travel & Leisure channels
  • Become the industry leader in cultivating and profitably growing the RTD On-Premise business by  partnering closely with various on-premise teams, distributor partners, and top priority customers to properly service and support BSI RTD brands in the Travel & Leisure channel

 

Role Responsibilities

The Manager, RTD Development On-Premise will focus on the following:

RTD Planning, Execution and Ways of Working

  • Provide guidance during budget planning and forecasting for RTD category for On-Premise channels and select accounts
  • Embed RTD “ways of working” into the GBUs and On-Premise Corporate and provide RTD category expertise to BSI, trade and customers
  • Track Scorecard performance vs. RTD standards & KPIs for On-Premise

 

Provide Tools and RTD Category Expertise to Commercial Organization

  • Support RTD program development and resource allocation to deliver RTD commercial plan for On-Premise
  • Partner closely with RTD commercial marketing and brand teams to inspire, create and deliver national and specific channel on Premise programming, combining both brand and category strategy with field and customer feedback
  • Work with regional marketing teams, distributor & chain sales leadership to ensure effective communication, dissemination and embedding RTD Standards, Programming and Best Practices
  • Support GBU commercial teams with RTD needs for distributor management (ie: General Sales Meetings) and customer management (ie: key account, chain calls)
  • Work with region distributors and customers to providing understanding of RTD category, BSI brand strategy,and develop forward looking plans

 

Ensure ‘Best in Class’ RTD Activation

  • Partner with Commercial organization to support planning and execution for RTD activations in market for On-Premise channels and accounts
  • Work with cross-functional teams (sales planning, corporate on premise) to integrate RTDs into national commercial plans and drive On-Premise RTD brands onto spec lists, menus and into seasonal promotions/LTOs
  • Align with region distributor sales leads on RTD execution incentives to ensure embedding and adherence to standards and best practices
  • Provide key account support to secure placements, activations, impulse purchase opportunities and menu programs

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in the Alcoholic Beverage Industry Sales and/or Marketing Experience
  • Previous industry experience, at distributor, other supplier, or bar staff at key on premise account
  • Previous leadership experience
  • Proven success in experiential programming including high impact events
  • Sales experience / commercial acumen
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Budget management experience
  • Up to 50% travel required
