  • Leadership/People Management: Build and lead a small CM team, providing vision to key deliverables and timing; ensure we identify and recruit the right people in the right roles to be successful
  • Process Improvement: Opportunity to assist in the creation of the Marketing infrastructure for the organization to work efficiently and effectively, by establishing processes and working with Brand House and US Regional Marketing to develop tools that drive coordination and transparency, bridging from early creative to excellence of execution.
  • Strategy Development: Drive a variety of high-impact, high-profile strategic projects and processes to support the Marketing organization in delivering our growth aspirations; improve our Marketing Program development and deployment within the US organization and translating marketing strategies into tools that rally the commercial organization
  • Complex Problem-Solving:  Evolve and prioritize Marketing Program and Asset development while further influencing improvement and change in the BSI organization
  • Leadership Exposure:  Regular communication with, and presentation to, senior level Brand House and Regional Marketing leadership.
  • Stakeholder Management: Positioned to influence and interact closely with key business functions (Brand House, Regional Marketing, US Sales, National Accounts, eCommerce, Finance, Supply Chain, IT) providing clear visibility to how broader groups need to work together effectively on key brand categories


Role Responsibilities

  • Assist Director of Commercial Marketing to design, hire, develop and lead a team of exceptional marketing professionals who will own the following marketing functions:
    • Marketing Asset Development (physical and digital) for BSI’s portfolio of brands across all channels of trade in the US Market.  This is inclusive of the following:  POS, Value-Added packs, eCommerce Digital assets, Experiential/Sampling footprints & activation guides, event invites, Print-on-Demand templates, Consumer Offer templates (MIR/IRC/Loyalty/Sweeps, Local Media templates.
    • Develop portfolio programming solutions, priorities and strategies.
    • Own Merchandising standards for all brands.
    • Create programmatic sell sheets for key brands/programs for sell-in to key customers by our commercial sales teams.
    • Develop and own content for US Brand Toolkits, which aid in communicating our brand experience plans to our commercial sales teams, distributor partners and customers.
    • Ensure linkage of Marketing plans to Commercial Sales programs (Big Bets, Focus Calendar, KPI Program, National Incentive parameters).
    • Develop capabilities within the CoE and broader business to drive analytic rigor and focus across our functional teams
    • Develop and implement agency model (in partnership with Marketing Procurement) to support the needs of both the Brand Houses and Regional Marketing teams
  • In partnership with Director, develop strategic plan for team, including:
    • Team vision and way-of-working across the Commercial Marketing team and with the Brand Houses and GBU Marketing Teams.
    • Socialize and train BSI organization on this teams’ objectives and goals while clearing defining scope of work
    • Bring team vision to life and seek continuous feedback to ensure that vision is delivered with success


Qualifications & Experience

  • 5-7 years of experience in Marketing, preferably with Brand, Regional and Commercial Sales connectivity
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or Marketing (Masters preferred); MBA preferred
  • Industry experience in CPG or AlcBev is strongly preferred
  • Proven track record of:
    • Ability to develop marketing programs and assets
    • Managing and developing a team of marketing professionals
    • Flexing analytical and strategic mindset to think about the marketing planning process and ways-of-working in both the near- and longer-term
    • Attention to detail with process and team development
    • Brand Investment management
    • Agency management
