What makes this a great opportunity?

The Pricing Manager role provides a great opportunity to join the US Commercial Finance team and make an impact on the business. The role interacts across several different functional groups including Sales, Finance, and RGM, enabling a solid understanding of the commercial business. The Pricing Manager will have visibility to Sales and Finance leaders as they support strategic and tactical pricing initiatives. Finally, it provides an opportunity to gain a perspective on the different roles within the Sales Finance team and their contributions to the business.


Role Responsibilities

  • Serve as key partner to the Central Region business and provide key decision support related to pricing and promotions
  • Proactively identify, analyze, and execute against price, promotion, and mix opportunities in collaboration with Sales and Sales Finance teams
  • Provide analysis for price and deal structures to maximize revenue and profit
  • Lead the evaluation of competitor price and promotion activities including the identification of risks and opportunities for the region
  • Drive the annual RGM commercialization process for the Central Region by providing strategic guidance, working with sales to plan and implement, and executing changes in price structures and consultation with the markets to execution of price and promotional changes in price structures
  • Provide visibility and reporting on implemented and planned price and promotional changes as well as P&L impact in the region
  • Lead pre- and post- evaluations of price and promotion changes and develop key learnings to positively impact future price and promotion decisions
  • Oversee ad-hoc pricing and promotion analyses and projects to help deliver incremental revenue and profit for the region
  • Collaborate with the Central Region EG Analyst to ensure price structures are optimized for trade spend and coupon activity
  • Provide training and education on the Vistaar system and share best practices to members of the sales teams


Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration; MBA or CPA a plus
  • 5+ years of experience in Revenue Management, Commercial Finance, or Strategy; experience in Beverage/Alcohol or CPG industry a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills including explaining financial analyses to non-Finance stakeholders
  • Ability to extract, manipulate, and analyze data for key insights with attention to detail
  • Strong Excel skills and knowledge of Vistaar pricing system
  • Minimal travel requirements
