Role Responsibilities

Role Mission

This position will lead the company’s Digital Technologies & Analytics initiatives by serving as a Magento Architect across our eCommerce workstreams.Outcomes/Success Criteria

Creative and passionate about building great user experiences.
Help formulate best practices for building shared code libraries and deployment practices.
Lead elaboration and discovery sessions to inform solution design, migration and modernization strategy
Ensure that proper processes are followed on projects, be familiar with industry best practices
Experience working with a globally distributed team and leading offshore teams
Understand a broad spectrum of technology to provide detailed technical design which meets customer requirements

Qualifications & Experience

A bachelor's degree in computer science, math, physics, engineering or a related field
3+ years delivering enterprise solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform
6+ years of experience as a software developer, including 2+ years’ experience working as a Senior or Lead Developer preferably in an ecommerce environment utilizing Magento 2.x as an e-commerce platform. This includes hands-on experience developing and modifying PHP for Magento
Experience integrating Magento 2.x with Drupal and/or using Magento in a headless environment is desired
Design, develop and implement scalable e-commerce applications to support Beam Suntory’s growing DTC (direct to consumer) portfolio.
Participates in the code review process to ensure that the code conforms to Beam Suntory and Magento best practices and guidelines.
3+ years of experience with at least one client-side framework (Angular, React, Vue.js, jQuery, etc.)
5+ years of experience working MySQL, PostgreSQL or MariaDB
Familiar with Git and using it as part of a CI/CD framework.
Familiarity with container development environments and CI/CD platforms and tools such as Jenkins, Docker and OpenShift is highly desired
Intermediate level skill with modern CSS design principles and languages such as SASS and LESS is desired
Familiarity with standard authorization/authentication platforms and technologies like OpenID, Oauth2, Identity Server, Okta, Auth0, etc. is desired
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology
Experience with web server setup and configuration (IIS, Apache, Nginx)
