Director Enterprise Architecture

What makes this a great opportunity?
Reporting to the CISO/CEA, this position manages the global Enterprise Architecture (EA) team. The mission is to set, communicate and ensure compliance of global architecture standards and deliver enterprise architecture strategies, processes, and artifacts for Beam Suntory aligned to strategic needs and priorities.
Role Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the enterprise architecture strategy, standards, and processes that enable BSI to make technology decisions quickly while ensuring platforms are cost effective, highly available, and future proof
- Strategic technology advisor for business and technology leaders across the organization
- Create and maintain current, up to date Enterprise Architecture and functional processes diagrams.
- Lead the Enterprise Architecture Review Board and provide initial project approval to ensure projects that introduce new or enhanced capabilities adhere to BSI’s architecture requirements.
- Manage enterprise CMDB to ensure infrastructure and application data are current
- Lead the evaluation and selection of enterprise technologies to support global business strategies.
- Partner with business and technology teams to define a digital technology strategy to enable digital solutions to modernize the landscape.
- Lead the enterprise data architecture strategy and data governance program in partnership with enterprise information management.
- Partner with Information Security & Risk Management to ensure technology systems and architecture landscape align with security policies and best practices
- Continually evaluate the technology market to understand new technologies and trends that BSI could take advantage of to improve it’s ability to meet its objectives.
- Define a future state reference architecture with a cloud first, rapid prototyping mindset that will be used to guide our technology decisions and reduce our technology footprint.
- Drive Application modernization, cloud adoption and app/tech rationalization strategies to reduce complexity and lower total cost of ownership of the landscape.
- Any other activities assigned by the manager.
Qualifications & Experience

- At least 10 years of experience in the EA function with at least three of those years managing an EA team.
- Knowledge of various enterprise application environments, cloud architectures, enterprise analytic solutions, and integration platform
- Experience leading a global IT team in multiple countries and time zones
- Experience working with a broad scope of technology vendors including in a managed services environment
- Knowledge of business, operating, and financial models and business ecosystems such as SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, SOA, and predictive analytics
- Experienced with global enterprise applications and data platforms including digital, ecommerce, sales, marketing, analytics and back-office technology solutions
- Conversant with modern architecture principles & frameworks
- Bachelor’s Degree is a requirement. Master’s degree a plus
