In this cross functional role, you will work with people throughout the Supply Chain and Operations to support our facilities, customers and business in order to provide the best spirits in the world. 

 

Role Responsibilities

  • Conduct a monthly deep dive of high-value and high-variance SKUs. Collaborate with Commercial, Brand, and Supply Planner to prepare findings and recommendations for review at the monthly Demand Clinic Meetings.
  • Compare statistical forecast to Commercial highlight gaps
  • Support monthly Demand Clinic meetings and assist with Demand Review preparation, tailoring presentation material, and effectively communicating at the appropriate level for varied audiences.
  • In APO, maintain SKU transition, creation of CVC, historical data alignment and assumption inputs. 
  • Generate monthly accuracy report in APO and format for communication.
  • Analyze all data pertinent to creating the demand plan such as historical sales, market trends, seasonality, promotions, customer POS, and inventory levels.
  • Work with the Brand and Project Teams to ensure new product launch plans (and initial volumes) are properly planned. Closely monitor early-life sales and adjust forecasts promptly as required particularly for high-value and high-variance SKUs.
  • Partner with Supply Chain Management functions to support S& OP initiatives and achieve customer serviceability requirements.
  • Collaborate with Commercial Finance, Sales, and Supply Management on product lifecycles in order to effectively manage end of life inventory planning.

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of relevant forecasting/data analysis experience required.
  • SAP/APO experience strongly preferred.
  • APICS/Forecast certification a plus.
  • Ability to use rigorous logic and defined methods to solve difficult problems that impede achieving objectives.
  • Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service throughout the supply chain.
  • Advanced computer skills and ability to use business systems effectively (e.g., SAP, APO, Microsoft software).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to express ideas clearly, inform others effectively, practice attentive and active listening, and achieve mutual understanding.
  • Ability to influence others and be seen as a team leader who can accomplish goals through mutual cooperation.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize workload, work proactively, and meet deadlines under pressure.
