Demand Planner  

 

Mission

 

The role of the Demand Planner is to develop demand forecasts (operational forecasts) at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons as part of a demand planning function.  These forecasts drive production/procurement requirements throughout the entire Supply Chain. 

  • Conduct a monthly deep dive of high-value and high-variance SKUs.
  • Collaborate with Commercial, Brand, and Supply Planner to prepare findings and recommendations for review at the monthly Demand Clinic Meetings.
  • Compare Consensus forecast to statistical and full year Plan.
  • Support monthly Demand Clinic meetings and assist with Demand Review preparation, tailoring presentation material, and effectively communicating at the appropriate level for varied audiences.
  • In SAP/APO, maintain SKU transition, creation of Combinations of Characteristics (CVC), historical data accuracy and assumption inputs.

Desired Qualifications

 

  •  Education- Educated to a degree level
  • Certifications/Licensure- APICS a plus     
  • Years of experience- minimum 3 years experience
