  • Customer Solutions Manager will play an integral role by developing best in class planograms, generating impactful reporting tools, providing analytical assessments, and leveraging industry publications and research to highlight key trends impacting Adult Beverage, particularly Spirits, to help drive planning and strategic decision making

Role Responsibilities

Role Mission

 

  • Advisory position focused on the Spirits Category at Walgreens; this position is a part of Beam Suntory’s Customer Solutions organization within National Accounts – Off Premise
  • Customer Solutions Manager will provide support to the Walgreens Spirits Team in the following areas:
    • Insights – deliver Category and Shopper Insights to assist Buyer with developing or reinforcing Category strategy and supporting pillars; additionally, leverage Walgreens Loyalty data to uncover opportunities
    • Analytics – provide analytical support around pricing, distribution, and merchandising; develop and lead reporting deliverables; proactively serve as a diagnostician for business issues and opportunities
    • Space Planning – draw and manage planograms for assigned states to accurately reflect strategy while optimizing national and regional assortment utilizing data and insights
  • Within the Space Planning process, the Advisor is responsible for creating and modifying planograms in JDA, reviewing and recommending assortment, monitoring planogram and distribution changes to ensure execution and performance, validating space to sales, and delivering on key timelines

 

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum requirements ...

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of CPG experience across Business Analytics, Channel/Shopper Insights, Category Development, and/or Sales Account Management
  • Exceptional technical, analytical, problem solving, data visualization, space planning, and communication skills
  • Self-starter with ability to identify, create, and lead projects

 

Desired qualifications …

  • National/Chain Account headquarter contact experience, including Walgreens or other retailer(s)
  • Advanced computer skills required, specifically JDA and Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Tableau or other data visualization software desired
  • Knowledge of a syndicated data platform, such as Nielsen, and experience with leveraging loyalty data preferred
  • Experience in Spirits, Wine, or Beer preferred, but not required
  • Ability to travel up to 10%
