Role Responsibilities

We will lead the industry in creating customized account experiences with our Hotel Channel partners that connect with their consumers, driving trial of our brands.


The Customer Marketing Manager - Hotels, will be responsible for developing hotel-specific programming to support and enhance the consumer drink experience within the hotel channel.  Ultimately, creating demand and driving market share growth of Beam Suntory’s business through key on-premise hotel accounts in partnership with the Hotel Sales Team. The position will report to the Director, On-Premise Marketing.


The ideal candidate is an energetic self-starter who can work cross-functionally to achieve the On-Premise Team’s priority initiatives, deliver impactful results, and build key relationships for our brands. The role is both customer, BSI sales & brand marketing-facing and will require active communication, collaboration, and leadership in a matrix environment.

  • Build stronger relationships with influential on-premise hotel channel/groups and provide unparalleled customer-focused brand solutions through marketing programs & drink development inclusive of all selling outlets
  • Deliver an integrated, multi-level and coordinated marketing and sales approach to the hotel channel
  • Drive usage of actionable category insights, industry trends and deliver customer-first brand solutions
  • Work across Hotel Sales Team to drive on-premise priority brands onto spec lists and into seasonal promotions/LTOs
  • Act as the voice for the Hotel Channel and Drink Solution platform with brand partners – sharing successes and identifying opportunities
  • Coordination and execution of conference and event planning
  • Budget management on behalf of Hotel Channel and Drink Solutions 
  • Develop programming and assets to accelerate Drink Solutions platform in conjunction with the CVP, Regional & Hotel Accounts, On Premise


Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required
  • 5-7 Years minimum of Alcoholic Beverage Industry Sales and/or Marketing Experience
  • 3-7 Years of On-Premise Alcoholic Beverage Industry Account Management/Chain Management Experience with Complex Cross Functional Team (Experience covering a broad geography preferred) Preferred
  • Proven track record of results in on-premise customer management
  • Exceptional analytical, communication, organizational and problem-solving skills
  • An understanding of category management and its applications
  • Advanced computer skills especially in Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Word.
  • Working knowledge of Social Media and commercial application
  • Familiarity with Technomics, Datassentials, and to leverage insights and company data
