  • Responsibility to lead cross-functional teams and external agencies to develop components within the national brand plans
  • Ownership of key projects and programs, with autonomy and empowerment to drive decisions



Role Responsibilities

Business Analytics:

  • Oversee establishment, tracking, and analysis of North American KPIs, driving recommendations for action
  • Analyze and make recommendations on competitive activities
  • Contribute to quarterly brand updates and business reviews
  • Oversee budget management and forecasting process, including ROI evaluation
  • Assist with strategic and annual brand planning by leading key elements of plan and working with our Regional Brand Teams to build locally relevant marketing plans


Project Management:

  • Oversee concept creation for experiential, sampling events, point of sale materials, special packs, and other touchpoint development, including
    • Creative briefs
    • Timeline management
    • KPIs establishment to measure success
    • Ensuring all programs are in alignment with national brand strategies
  • Bring new Jim Beam visual identity to market with new packaging, working with cross functional partners to commercialize across multiple markets


Innovation Development:

  • Support new product development and campaign execution, including go-to-market strategy and asset/programming creation
  • Partner with Sales and Finance to estimate new product and promotional volumes
  • Coordinate with Regional Brand Teams to complete post-mortems on innovation launches and campaign programs


Brand Stewardship:

  • Provide national brand strategy guidance and ongoing program information to the Regional Brand Teams
  • Facilitate exchange of information (competitive, regional insights, inventory, etc) and stay abreast of brand needs with regular touchpoints with Regional Brand Teams to ensure national plans are created in adherence to brand led, market fed strategy
  • Develop trade promotion materials (sell sheets, education materials, etc.)
  •  Build relationships with cross-functional partners, including Innovation, Insights, Finance, PR, etc. to drive effective marketing executions


Qualifications & Experience

Desired Qualifications

  • 3-5 years brand or consumer marketing experience
  • MBA preferred
  • Proven ability to deliver brand programs that align with overall Brand strategy
  • Motivated, with an ability to deal with ambiguity and to provide independent thinking supported by fact-based rationale
  • Strong record of cross-functional team leadership and collaboration, taking projects from idea to execution
  • Strong analytical abilities; experienced in identifying opportunities through analysis and bringing those opportunities to fruition
  • Experience working with syndicated retail sales data and developing business performance reviews
  • Sound written & verbal communication skills
  • Experience with beverage alcohol industry and/or three-tiered distribution system a plus (soft drinks, beer, and other wholesale-distributed product).
