Beam Suntory currently has the following position open in Chicago Illinois, United States.


Supply Chain Support Coordinator  




  • Provide superior customer service to customers and sales representatives in U.S. market including Military and Canada customers. Manage the processing of order entry and execution of orders into the system. Ensure that orders are verified and accurately entered into SAP and the Distributors receive appropriate confirmation and communication within department SLA’s.
  • Experience in understanding all functions with the export and import of goods (tax paid versus in bond) as it relates to order processing.
  • Act as a market owner of understanding business requirements related to IP, DISTIL, etc. and risks for customers if not executed correctly.
  • Enter and execute all activity related to orders, order changes, Quality and Shipment Claims for Military as applicable, including sample requests and raw material requests within customer’s requested ship dates meeting department SLA’s for order entry.

  • Maintain effective communications with commercial, operations, centralized planning and other internal departments and external vendors.
  • Support IT or Supply Chain initiatives and new process implementations with      awareness of impact to department.
  • Assist with development of department SOPs that they are maintained and up to date.
  • Initiate problem-solving tactics to get to root cause analysis to improve processes for both customer and internal contacts to effectively process orders.
  • Work as a team to manage the requests coming through the Salesforce System by effectively and efficiently staying in front of SLA’s and individually responding to escalated requests timely and accurately.


Desired Qualifications


  • Two years or more experience in order management activities with emphasis on documentation and strong customer service aptitude
  • Capable of working independently on daily work activity and miscellaneous assignments, and be able to organize and prioritize workload and follow-up accordingly
  • Expresses ideas clearly, informs others effectively, practices attentive and active listening, and achieves mutual understanding through written and verbal communication.
  • Demonstrate ability and willingness to work in a team environment and to accomplishing goals through cooperation
  • Proven ability to stay focused and multi-task in a fast-paced environment under the pressure of deadlines
  • Bachelor’s degree in business related discipline or equivalent experience.
