What makes this a great opportunity?

Reporting to the Key Account Manager, the Part – Time Sales Merchandiser will be responsible for effectively setting up merchandising programming, value adding, ship outs and assisting with managing the warehouse to maximize merchandising and sales opportunities in the retail and on premise market.

 

Role Responsibilities

  • Illustrate effective use of retail fundamentals and merchandising methods in Key Accounts and Independent retail locations.
  • Make effective use of shelf merchandising utilizing P.O.S. and marketing materials, build displays and cut cases, ensuring cleanliness of product, advise stock outs, and provide stock rotation and facing of product.
  • Track and report competitive activity at store level to management
  • Assist with managing the Calgary warehouse, including ship outs and receiving goods
  • Maintain tracking of weekly visits to accounts and provide weekly feedback to Key Account Manager
  • Minimum of 8 calls per day – depending on workload

Qualifications:

 

  • Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma
  • Previous retail sales or merchandising experience preferred
  • Must have valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
  • Ability to lift product up to 15-20 lbs  as required
