Position is responsible to Lead the Beam Suntory operation – Own site at Behror, deliver Beam Suntory India Business KPI in EHS, Quality, Cost, Volume, People. Rollout & lead Operational excellence initiatives at the unit. Lead Improvements of plant operation thru focused Improvement projects.

Role Responsibilities

•    Lead the Bottling plant operation & deliver production volumes at right Quality and delivery at right time as per Business plan. Develop and grow the shop floor employees to enable them to deliver desired results.
•    Drive new product launches as per the grid, enhancing the manufacturing capabilities to maximize Plant capacity at optimized resource.
•    Lead automation projects & new initiatives to Improve Productivity, derive Cost savings and Operational Improvements by leading Operation Excellence program of the plant.
•    Work with Production Planning & S&OP team on weekly / daily production plan, ensure right material inventory and optimum FG stock to meet monthly supply targets. 
•    Liaison with excise staffs, understand regulatory requirements and run business in a compliant manner.
•    Build relationship with shopfloor workmen, contract supervisors to achieve smooth running of manufacturing operations, keeping compliance agenda in build in day-to-day functioning.
•    Ensure that manufacturing facility’s systems and process are complaint BSI, FSSAI and other applicable standards and regulations.
•    Exhibits leadership skills like Gemba Approach, Kaizen mindset, Future Oriented to drive sustainable improvements in plant operations. 
•    Strengthen basics in Manufacturing systems & processes addressing product quality and ensuring complete adherence to compliances in process.
•    Ensure daily / weekly / monthly production and stock reported on updated and reconcile physical and booked stock.
•    Ability to lead cross functional team – Plant Improvement Task Force team to Improve the overall performance of all functions of the Plant.

Qualifications

Qualifications:


Engineering graduate on any one of the trade - Mechanical / Electrical / Chemical Engineering.
Must have experience in direct handling team of shopfloor executives in Production, Maintenance, Quality & Project Management. 
Demonstrate strong knowledge and expertise in online quality control & Production Planning, Productivity Improvements, Plant automation, Yellow Belt Projects.
Experience of driving manufacturing excellence – TPM/TRACC
FSSAI Training & Certification desirable
Experience in Project / plant Maintenance must need
Hands on with SAP MM module 

Experience:


Relevant manufacturing experience in IMFL bottling operation minimum 10 years from MNC / Reputed Indian companies.
Thorough understanding on IMFL & Scotch whisky blending and bottling operation including man, machine, and material planning to run botting operation.
A strong people person – able to build relationships with shop floor employees, demonstrate BSI leadership behaviors while driving business growth
Strong communication and influencing skills.
Excellent knowledge on State Excise Acts, Rules, and Regulations, FSSAI, ISO 22000, HACCP and knowledge on Factory Act, Weights and Measures Act, all environmental acts and all other applicable legislations.
