Role Responsibilities

We trust you to bring your unique experience and perspective and learn about how you can best contribute to our company and our People Solutions (PS) team. In the People Solutions Specialist role, your responsibilities include:

  • First point of contact for our employees on the resolution of HR / PS enquiries
  • Provide PS services and make decisions using your independent judgment, based on our values, methods, and standard procedures
  • Taking ownership of regional PS programs and policies including contracts, benefits, retirement, on-and offboarding, relocation, etc., working closely with subject matter experts.
  • Provide support to our (HR) leadership on appropriate interactions with regulatory bodies.
  • General support of the HRBP where and when appropriate.
  • Challenge the status-quo and further improve our PS services.
  • Time management. (maternity leave, sickness, leave absence, etc)
  • Success Factors: Workflows approval, Audit, Control processes, Data maintenance.
  • Payroll inputs communication (about changes, promotions, lateral, leave, absences)
  • Participation in audits (government, internal and external)
  • Support on reporting activities for different areas.
  • Documenting maintenance of key processes and activities.
  • Participation in local projects and HR system implementations.

Qualifications

You're a values-driven person and have had broad exposure to multiple HR disciplines. You can make decisions independently and have a hands-on mentality. You're confident with HR systems and the MS Office package.

Ideally, you've had some touchpoints with matrix organizations or a shared service environment.

 

In addition, you'll have:

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role in Human Resources
  • Experience managing projects/processes
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Degree-level education or Professional qualification
  • Experience working with HR systems - Success Factors is preferred
  • Relevant HR certification / HR accreditation preferred
  • Intermediate Level of English language
  • Relevant labor legislation knowledge.
  • Good understanding of HR matrix structure.
  • General knowledge of HR functions.
  • Work under pressure.
  • Multiple priorities and tasks
  • Energetic and passionate about working in an international environment
